I love Korean skin care and have not been disappointed with any of the products I have either purchased or received, as in this case, courtesy of the Vine programme.It was the grand-daughter who was raving about collagen face masks which I have shunned when they popped up on the Vine items, but, after being told they are amazing, leave your skin like glass and glowing, I had to give one a try, appreciating that the results on a 19 year old are never going to be so apparent on a ... year old pensioner!!! I was actually, really impressed, my skin did indeed look smooth, refreshed and tightened after use.Now, these come in a box of 5 but I also received one individual mask and set about using it last night. Instructions say leave it on for at least 90 mins and up to 4 hours the latter not being overnight and so I questioned Amazon's AI which confirmed the mask can be left on overnight.The mask comes in two slippery pieces with a slippy, cellophane backing - in the absence of clear instructions, I was not sure whether the mask was one sided and which side the cellophane was on, the right or wrong one? so I did my eye end without and the mouth end with and am still none the wiser.I could not get the eye one to fit properly and rather wondered, when it slid across my nostril, whether, if it moved whilst I slept, I would be suffocated? I can't blame the mask, I don't think I really knew how to fit it properly and, it did tear. I also did not know how I was going to manage to sleep in this (especially with the silk eye mask on top). Apparently, one is supposed to apply the mask and let it dry out fully before sleeping but I don't think my mask did.In the end, mine went on at 11.00 pm and at 2.00 am, I peeled it off and a quick nip to the bathroom revealed my now blooming, tightened skin.Being hyper-sensitive just now and recovering from various facial dermatitis outbreaks I was probably mad to even try this but, am pleased to say I experienced no irritation, my face didn't swell up - a normal reaction for me - my eyes were not affected all of which was a huge relief.So, all in all, I have decided to practice perfecting my mask application technique and, when I have used these up, will definitely get some more because I loved the post mask effect. Thank you grand-daughter for introducing these to me and thank you Amazon for making these available to try. For the price of 5 for £11.99 for this all botanical formula, these are a bargain and a real beauty treat.
