Easy to apply and seems to maintain the water resistance of the board. I used it on a maple amd walnut board that I made. I first soaked the board in Walrus Oil for a couple of days until it didn't seem to be able to soak up any more oil. Then I wiped it down and let it dry for about 24 hours. I then wiped it down with the wood wax, and do so as well after every dozen or so washes. It can be difficult to tell if you are applying enough, but thin layers are the right way to go. This is a great choice for maintaining your wooden cutting boards.
