I tried to use this product to fix a small hole in the bottom of a Vinyl swimming pool. The area was wet but clean and whilst the glue on these seems incredibly sticky before it gets wet - when underwater, it just lifts with close to zero adhesion. I would strongly refute the claim that this works underwater and no amount of pressure or smoothing makes any difference. ### ⭐ Shocking do not buy *by J***E on 18 June 2021* Do not buy doesn’t do what it says.. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/72306339-starlyfsealing-tape-as-seen-on-tv-adhesive-tape-packaging-waterproof](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/72306339-starlyfsealing-tape-as-seen-on-tv-adhesive-tape-packaging-waterproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
