Makes Mashed Potatoes Like a Pro – Heavy Duty and Easy to Use
The PriorityChef Large 15oz Potato Ricer has completely upgraded my kitchen game! I’ve always loved mashed potatoes, but getting that smooth, fluffy texture without lumps was tricky, until I tried this ricer. The heavy-duty stainless steel construction feels solid and durable, and the large 15oz storage capacity makes it easy to mash a big batch in one go. Using it is simple and satisfying: just cook your potatoes, place them in the ricer, press, and watch the magic happen. The result is perfectly smooth, lump-free potatoes every time! Seriously, the kind that could pass Gordon Ramsay’s scrutiny! No more "lumpy mash!" It’s not just for potatoes either; I’ve used it for cauliflower mash, sweet potatoes, and even pureeing soft fruits for baby food. What really sets this ricer apart from other tools is how effortless it makes mashing. No more struggling with hand mashers or ending up with gluey, uneven results. Cleanup is easy too as the stainless steel rinses quickly, and it feels built to last for years of use. It holds up well with hot foods, it's not bendable and it seems to be great value for the money. If you love making mashed potatoes or want a versatile kitchen tool that elevates simple dishes into restaurant-quality results, this ricer is a must-have. It’s sturdy, effective, and genuinely fun to use. Highly recommend it!

Love this! Excellent product!
Pros: Consistent Texture: This potato ricer produces very smooth and consistent mashed potatoes. The small holes in the ricer help break down the potatoes effectively, creating a velvety texture. Easy to Use: This potato ricer is very straightforward to use. You place the cooked potatoes into the chamber, and by pressing down, the mashed potatoes are forced through the small holes. This process requires minimal effort. Versatile: While primarily used for potatoes, I've used this potato ricer also for other vegetables, such as carrots, turnips, or squash. It's a versatile tool for various recipes. Less Gluey Texture: Unlike mashing with a regular potato masher or electric mixer, a ricer doesn't overwork the potatoes, which can lead to a gluey texture. It keeps the starches in the potatoes from being overactivated, resulting in lighter and fluffier mashed potatoes. I learned that from Gordon Ramsey! Easy to Clean: This potato ricer is easy to clean, as it has removable parts that can be placed in the dishwasher or cleaned by hand. I've done both with this one. Cons: Limited to Mashed Texture: While potato ricers excel at producing smooth, creamy mashed potatoes, they aren't suitable for dishes where you want a chunky or rustic texture. For those cases, a masher might be more appropriate. Storage: Potato ricers in general can be bulky and may take up space in your kitchen. Look for models with a compact design if you have limited storage. Not Ideal for Large Batches: If you need to mash a significant quantity of potatoes, using a potato ricer can be time-consuming compared to using an electric mixer. But the flavor is the pay-off. In summary, this potato ricer is an excellent addition to your kitchen if you appreciate perfectly smooth and creamy mashed potatoes and other vegetables. Its ease of use and ability to maintain a desirable texture make it a valuable tool for creating delicious side dishes.

Only one "plate" but it works fantastically for making mashed potatoes.
I'm halfway between disappointed and happy about this one. There aren't multiple ricer plates like my last ricer, but at the same time, there's a reason I had to order a new one. The old plates BENT while trying to rice up some potatoes, while this one just can't because it's part of the lower canister design. It's super easy to use because you just put some boiled potato cubes in the bottom and squish 'em through the holes. It's like my old ricer with some good rubber, so it's fairly easy to use design-wise. Any ricer is going to be messy because, well, it's mashed potatoes, but not having exchangeable plates does make it easier to not make a mess.

This is a bit small but def does the job. Very well made and I use it a lot. Pretty sure it will last forever and happy to have a ricer for my potatoes! Best mash potatoes I’ve ever made!

Wish I tried this years ago!
I have been mashing potatoes with my Grandmother's old fashioned potato masher my whole life. While I treasure her potato masher for sentimental reasons, it can't hold a candle to this ricer. As I get older my hands are not as strong as they once were, so I thought this ricer might make Thanksgiving a bit easier for me. The difference is noticeable in every way. The ricer is super easy to use. You toss the boiled potatoes in and squeeze. That's it. The potatoes mash right through all the little holes with minimal effort and what comes out the other side are the smoothest, fluffiest, most delicious mashed potatoes I have ever had. My whole family noticed the difference. Clean up is super easy. I have been cooking for so long that I don't often find cool new things. This is definitely a cool new thing and I am SO happy I tried it.

Hace lo que dice que hace a muy buen precio
Excelente idea y muy buen producto. Ahorra tiempo y alarga la vida útil de tu muñeca (!) que no tiene que empujar con un tenedor para que la papa pase por un colador.

PriorityChef Large 15oz Potato Ricer, Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Potato Masher
i never knew that I needed to have a Potato Ricer until i watched a Youtube video of one. Not sure where the Ad came from but I am so happy with this Potato Ricer. It works like a charm. My only issue is with the process - for me - I bake my potatoes and scoop out the inside to push through the ricer and the potatoes are so hot! But the outcome is super creamy and worth it! I use this for special occasions. The Potato Ricer is strong, well made and I find it easy to clean. Just need to clean it as soon as you're done with it.
