This comes in a little glass bottle with pipette dropper. I’d never used the brand PURE before trying this but I’m aware of the ingredients so I was curious whether this serum could help my eye area, dryness on the lids and the fine lines.It’s classed as a serum but it has a feeling of being more oil-like to me, given the colour and greasiness. The texture and consistency do make it easier to smooth around the skin and a little goes a good way. It’s only a 15ml bottle, which is average as most eye products like this are very small, so hopefully it’ll last a good while.I tend to pop a drop at a time onto a finger tip and massage in. The brand suggests doing a 5 minute eye massage to stimulate collagen and elastin cells, but I don’t do it for that long. I’ve massaged with my fingertip sometimes but I’ve also used an eye massager, which does a better job of it than I do myself.The key ingredient here is a mix of organ oil and retinyl, which is (I think) a weaker version of retinol that’s less likely to aggravate or irritate the skin, an important point given the sensitive nature of the eye area. There are other “vital nutrients” plus Vitamin E as well to help hydrate and “rejuvenate”.While the under eye area is mentioned, I do use this on my eye lids, up to my eye brow line, the sides of the eye and underneath. I’ve had no irritation thankfully, and no unwanted effects. I’d say it seems quite gentle.My skin does feel nicely relieved after use. I’m not sure I’ve noticed any difference to lines as of yet, or the deeper lines I get around my eyes when smiling, but the skin is softer and I’ve not had so much dryness. I’ve got Sjogrens and have had problems from that, so I’m pleased to try anything to help boost hydration.I’ve only used this on my eyes but the product description says you can use it on the whole face if you wanted to. I’m not sure if I’d do this, or if I did it would be when at home in the evening, because I’ve noticed that when I use it around the eye area it stays greasy for a good while afterwards. That’s the only small downside for me, again given the more oily consistency. The next morning is fine though and the eye area is looking a little more open, a little brighter, a little healthier.

This eye serum is absolutely lovely and smells lush in a a subtle way. It’s meant to reduce puffiness and hydrate underneath our eyes where the skin is the most delicate. To be honest I have been using it every night on my entire face and can see a noticeable improvement in my skin. You only need a little and make sure you gently pat it round the eye areas so as not to get it in your eyes or aggravate the delicate eye area. Really nice serum oil which is clearly working to hydrate my skin.
