All-new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite (16 GB) – Our fastest Kindle ever, with new 7" glare-free display and weeks of battery life

I absolutely love my Kindle. After using it for a few days, I can honestly say it has completely changed my reading experience. The display feels just like reading a real book, and it’s very comfortable on the eyes, even during long reading sessions. The battery life is excellent, it’s lightweight, and I can carry an entire library wherever I go. One feature I especially appreciate is the built-in dictionary. Whenever I come across an unfamiliar English word, I can simply tap on it and instantly see its meaning. As someone trying to improve my vocabulary while reading, this has been incredibly helpful and has made reading much more enjoyable. The distraction-free environment also helps me stay focused on books instead of constantly checking my phone. If you enjoy reading or want to build a reading habit I highly recommend getting a Kindle. For me, it has been worth every penny, and I only wish I had bought one sooner.

Trust me! The screen looks more beautiful and gentler than what you might see on the images I have uploaded. I'd like to highlight some the important features of my kindle paperwhite in terms of it's usage. 0. Very light weight and has matt back which feels very soft on touch. 1. Best for reading epubs and azw3. You can sideload epubs and pdf via amazon's 'Send to Kindle' desktop app. 2. Mangas look very nice in it. If you download it via amazon, there won't be any issues. But there isn't an option to set the contrast which might feel a bit underwhelming (review based on fire force vol 1 sample downloaded from kindle store) But if you are going to sideload it (i mean download the manga form elsewhere, you know where!) , you'll need to first convert it to epub format with kindle comic converter desktop app. Keep experimenting. 3. The browser is very very basic. You can only use it for reading text heavy websites. 4. If u study a lot using pdfs and epubs, then this has an edge over tablets when it comes to battery life and reducing eye strain (there's none!). 5. This is extremely travel friendly gadget! Although i suggest you to get a flip cover for screen protection against rough usage. 6. PDFs won't be as good as viewing on a tablet but still it's manageable. This kindle is faster so zoom in/out and scrolling is smoother than the previous one. 7. You need to keep Airplane mode turned on most of the time if you want to prolong the battery backup, and only turn if off when you require to upload and sync books. 8. You can buy a magnetic case cover which can wake up or sleep the screen when you open or close the cover simultaneously. This prevents the risk of the power button going faulty with repeated usage over the time. Although it makes the kindle slightly heavier to hold. 9. Keep an eye out for Kindle colorsoft and Kindle scribe if your budget is more! But paperwhite for now is seal deal for me!

I have using the paperwhite first model since 2013-. Had to buy this because of Amazon kicking it out of support and I particularlly need it as I borrow from Kindle unlimited regularly. The enw is good - though a bit bigger than the old one -- which size I thought was ideal for holding in my hand while reading in bed. The screen clarity is much better with higher resolution and it is much faster than the old one - no doubt. No problems with syncing with my kindle unlimited library borrowings. I continue to enjoy using the paperwhite. But regret very much having to throw away my old one - its been a great companion for me over the last 13 years.

I just shifted from an old 8th gen Kindle and the difference is MASSIVE. For one, this Kindle has a really big screen, that is, 7 inches, which you only used to get on Oasis. It also has adjustable warm lighting and great battery life. It is also pretty strong and is easy to navigate the interface. It also has good, sharp blacks and clear whites. This is also a 300 ppi screen, which is pretty good. This is a flagship level Kindle at the price of a standard Paperwhite. It is very nice, except the fact that the new Kindle OS had a lot of application error bugs, which Amazon also fixed. Great product. It has put Oasis out of business.

Good product, but it should come with case cover also. With out case cover, it's difficult to hold this because of smooth ness.

Since I read late every night, the Adjustable Warm Light has been a life-saver, shifting the color to a cozy amber that doesn't hurt my eyes. And since it’s waterproof (IPX8). With 16 GB of space, I’ve already downloaded dozens of books and haven't made a dent in the storage. If you’ve never owned a Kindle before, trust me—this is the one to start with. It’s perfect.

This is my first experience of an e-ink display and it really feels like I'm reading an actual paper. It is super duper comfortable on the eyes. I own a tablet with much better resolution, contrast and refresh rate, and I'd still choose this device to read books - it is that comfy. There was slight ghosting of texts/images initially, which tbh, mimics the ghosting of texts we see in actual books, so it could be someone's personal preference. If not, it can be fixed by turning on page refresh in settings. That's all. Happy reading!
