Bellissimo portatile e venditore serio

It is quite amazing how GPD have managed to squeeze this hardware in to this form factor. I wanted something extremely portable to play games but also to work in case of an emergency while out and about. I used to play around with Unity and wanted to try and find the time to pick this up again (my commute suited). After trying to find reviews with images of how practical this would actually be on this size screen and keypad I decided to just try it. Although it obviously can't compare to a full size keyboard and screen it does a surprisingly good job. I have added photos of Unity at both 150% and 100% scale using 1920x1080 resolution in case anyone else finds this useful. Fantastic device. I watched probably every YouTube video and after a year I went for it. Plays all of my steam games at 60+fps at 720p and some at 1080p. Emulators work well too and I can play PS2 games at 4 watts. Battery lasts quite a while if you pay attention and adjust as needed. I have gotten used to Motion Controls boring UI and it mostly works well. Occasional glitches but very useful. It will get warm at 20 watts but I’ve found most game play great at around 12 watts. At that power it gets warm but it’s nothing unexpected. Overall really pleased and I’d recommend them to anyone. I may even get a Win Max 2 when the 2025 370 is on Amazon.

Unit arrived promptly, in perfect condition (package was handled with care) The technical specifications are impressive for a computer this small, at the current price tag I saw it as an worthwhile purchase still. Personally Ive always felt the allure of having a tiny laptop, the idea sounded awesome to me as soon as I got my hands on my first Nintendo DS. Technology has caught up since then and my childhood dreams of pocket gaming computer are now fulfilled. That being said, not everyone will find a niche device like this to have the same allure, this is merely my own judgements. Performance wise I have not put too much stress on the unit (yet) having only played games like gta 5 online, and Lego starwars. While these are not the most demanding games, they ran extremely well with performance at least feeling/appearing equal to my main tower PC. The fan does chug hard under a load, but this can be remedied with the built in motion assistant program found on the desktop. Motion assistant brings me to my next point, be prepared to see windows defender warnings regarding motion assistant or underlying drivers that it has access to. There are known vulnerabilities here, the files in question will need to be either whitelisted or forgone entirely. For productivity ive used this machine to do some light coding work (within vscode mainly), using the keyboard for such tasks has been a breeze, but to maintain my usual development pace an external mouse was needed. Overall very happy!

It's one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I don't like windows 11, but the fact that it runs it goes to say how power full it is. The keyboard is kinda small, as in I can't use it as well as my pc keyboard which sucks. Especially if you wanna try a code with it which is low-key one of the reasons I got it. The best way I can describe it is by saying it's a mini pc which you can carry around. So yeah I've always dreamed if having something like this as a kid. I did have a problem with it not wanting to charge just now so that had me worried, but it's charging now so I think it's good 😅
