Turn this to release & the saw can then be put in it’s place & locked. **Q: How do i know if up86 is compatible with saw- it says not compatible with older generation up82, up84 and up86 tools ? i bought up86 last year** A: It is indeed not compatible with older up86 out of the box, because the shaft on the upx86 is thicker than the up86 and the clamp of the saw is too loose on the up86. However by gluing a ~4mm thick pad (nylon or rubber) onto the moveable part of the clamp, I was able to have it clamp securely and work very satisfactorily with my up86/Wilkinson-sword pruner bought about 10 years ago. First rate product and very sharp! **Q: How do you adjust the cutting head?
