I bought this hoping it would give me that familiar iced chai latte taste from the big coffee chain everyone knows. For me, it does not. It is not bad, but it is much more of a deep brown sugar or caramelized sugar syrup, almost a little toasted or slightly burnt tasting, than a properly spicy chai. There is some spice there, but not enough bite. It is also much sweeter than I wanted. It has been sitting half-used on my counter for about two months while I keep trying other options, which probably says it all. I do not dislike it enough to throw it out, but I never reach for it when I want an iced chai. I would not use it in coffee, but I might try adding a little to strongly brewed chai tea, where the actual tea and spices can do more of the work.

Did not like the taste at all. Very artificial.

The taste is fake and heavier on cloves flavour.
