SO300-24V 160LB Electric Boat Trolling Motor with Speed Controller Large Thrust Saltwater 160 Pound for DIY

I did switch out the in-line breaker for a slightly Higher amp after having problems with the original one flipping. Works perfect now.

After having problems with the 160lb thrust motor that I purchased, seller agreed to my request to sell me a new motor at a significant discount as well as provide parts that allowed me to repair the original motor. This was a best resolution for me because it allowed me to continue to use my boat without a significant interruption with the option of keeping or selling the repaired motor.Seller (Jane) is very responsive to emails and an excellent communicator. Jane is a fair and trustworthy business person. The product itself works as advertised moving my 2 ton 26' sailboat at about three knots and is extremely efficient running at 1/2 -2/3rds speed . In my my opinion, after looking at other options for an electric motor that will move a 2 ton sailboat, the caroute 160lb thrust motor stands alone in terms of it's value and performance
