I am prone to neuromas so despite not having wide feet look for a roomy toe box in my shoes. I also hate loose shoes, so haven’t gotten into slip-ons, but have these a shot. I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 depending on brand, so per the recommendations of the Allbirds site for people who want a roomy toe box, I went up a half size to 11. The shoes fit well, and are comfortable. Wide toe box to start with, and eight the half size up seems like it’s not going to cause foot problems for me. Not snug, but they don’t slide around, so no complaints. Not sure whether they’re going to get too loose over time, but so far so good. They aren’t true hands-free slip-ons though; you do need to use a hand to pull the heel up. They have very nicely padded soles, but also feel like there’s enough play that I wouldn’t want to walk more than maybe a half mile or so in them, so they’re not true walking shoes to me, more like “casual going to the store shoes”. Which is what I bought them for, so again, no real complaints. Great for flying—very breathable, easy to remove for security or when in your seat, easy to put back on, plenty comfortable for getting around the airport.

Very comfortable for all-day walking. True to size. They look great. I wipe them down with a damp rag, and do not use the wash machine.
