Fast shipping and easy set up, directions are easy to follow. Setting up the county code is a little tricky but once you google your county its pretty straightforward. We get all the alerts as soon as our county is warned. I really like how fast the alerts come across and with 3 volume levels you can tune have it wake up the whole house if you want. Highly recommend this product! Surprisingly good reception with the extra antenna. Screen is nice and bright and easy to read. It's nice and compact size is helpful to place in any number of areas. Has great functionality as you can turn alerts off and on as desired. Seems to be durable so far.

Love the look and functionality of this radio. Works perfect and alerts with a loud siren and information, and it has a plug in alert light that can be mounted on the wall for those that are hearing impaired. Was easy to program the S.A.M.E. codes from NOAA's Government Weather website.

This radio seemed to work well - I was getting thunderstorm watches and warnings as was described. However, today could have been incredibly dangerous. I received a thunderstorm watch alert in the late A.M. Later, just after noon, my phone and tablet started alerting me to a Tornado WARNING, both from my aps and from the county. My weather radio? Nothing. It was just blinking the "watch" notification. My other devices were lit up, but this radio was an absolute fail. I don't know if it can only handle one alert type at a time, but I was incredibly lucky that the storm that passed through only downed trees.

Very happy with this radio. Instructions were great and allowed us to put in our local area and individually turn on and off different alerts. After a few months it’s been reliable and the lower volume setting is perfect for waking us up for emergency alerts. We have it in our bedroom but it can be heard from other rooms as well.

I like it okay. Disappointed that you have to choose between voice alert, alarm alert, or display. My old weather radio gave you a tone then voice would come on and tell you the information. This radio was fairly easy to set up. I’ll keep it.

I've been using these S.A.M.E. All Hazards radios for many years. Started with Midland WR-300 'deluxe' style, both died right outside warranty. No longer sold by Midland, probably because such rubbish. Still using a Midland W120, but wanted one for upstairs so I don't sleep through an event without knowing about it. This Emgykit MD319 is just as good as the Midland W120, looks better (not a big white thing), and speaker of better quality, sounds much better than my Midland radios did/do. And most importantly, COMES with an external alert strobe, great for my hearing loss so as not to miss an alert. Also COMES with an external wire antenna that plugs into RCA jack on back. The bonus alert strobe alone makes this a great value, the one Midland sells separately costs almost as much as this entire radio kit! Has all the features the Midland does, and if it lasts, will be the only brand I buy from now on.

I set it up in minutes and it picked up every alert. I like the red alert bulb having a long wire. It picks up my weather station very well. I liked it so well I recommended it to my sister who likes hers as well. The alert is very loud and can be heard from several rooms away. The battery backyp is a great feature.

Easy to set up. Screen is large and very readable. The antenna helps with reception. The external alert light was a bonus to me. Never seen an added alert light.
