Maybelline Lifter Glaze Oil Balm with Hyaluronic Acid and Hydrating Oil Blend, Lip Balm with 24HRs of Smooth, Moisturizing Shine, Cherry Swirl (Sheer Cherry Red)

I got this for my wife since she likes lipsticks and these were relatively cheap at $8.99. I got the "Cherry Red" because I think that's the best color. The color you see in my pictures is true to live, except it looks more vibrant in person! I tried to take a pic of her lips but she was camera shy, sad face.. But, I thought she looked sexy AF with these on. And she liked these too. And she liked that I liked it!Overall, for the price, these are definitely worth it. If Cherry Red isn't you favor, there's plenty of other colors. You can't go wrong with Mabelline. Highly recommended!

I was shocked by how dark this looked at first, but it's a transparent color and therefore isn't nearly as dark on the lips as it looks in the tube. The color description is perfect for what I'd call it. It looks just like a dark cherry. It applies easily and is a very suitable color for my daughter's olive skin-tone.

Overall I really like this, and I like how sturdy the actual case is. I hate when a lip product has a weirdly rounded or narrow bottom, makes it so you have to be careful how you set it down. I can set this any which way and it stays put.The color looks great, I didn't have to apply a ton to be able to see it. I did have to exfoliate my lips a bit as the balm was collecting visibly on a rough patch. It's a bit stickier than similar products I've used and it transfers easily, but the color being as sheer as it is does minimize that issue a bit. I'm not having a brown spot on a tooth, for example.

This is a great affordable moisturizing lip tint that I hoped would be something I could use instead of the pricey Clinique black honey lip balm. I'm not sure if I had a choice to try the Acai Glaze Maybelleine color but I think that one would have been closer. Still I like this one as it's probably a bit more neutral.
