It's OK, could be better
Came with a spot on the corner, don't know what it was, just that we had to clean it and the stain is still there.

I used it as a paper towel holder instead
I love the grey wash industrial look, I ended up moving and had a toilet paper holder, so I put it up in kitchen in position that paper towel roll could be put down from top end of metal and sit where it connects to wood, works perfect.

Poor Function, be prepared to make some adjustments
1) It is not reversible, which means the only way to hang this is the way it is shown. - Because of this, the open end for the toilet paper faces the toilet, which means the toilet paper falls off its bar. A lot.- Also, the way the pipes are screwed together, the pipe that screws into the wall plate will unscrew if you put any pressure on the shelf or accidentally bump the toilet paper pipe in the downwards position.If this had been put together with any thought for functionality, it would at least finish the screw threading facing away from the toilet, so any downward pressure (including gravity and time) wouldn't automatically drop the entire shelf and bar into a vertical position.I ended up buying some Loctite Threadlocker to glue the pieces together.

Functional yet alterable for beauty
One of the great things about this item is that it is built like an industrial item.This means you can unscrew it, twist it, and just about do anything you want with it.As you can see in this picture, I wanted to use my imagination to make it fit my bathroom better.I have a small house with one tiny bathroom (I’m a bachelor who doubles his home as an art gallery. So it is important to me that my place not only looks good, but every square inch is used in a functional way.This is a great item for that because I can change it to how I want it

Why the Low Ratings...
Not sure why the low ratings from some. No hardware, you should have read or asked. Not level, they sell them at. HD for cheap.Ours is nice accent to our DYI bathroom remodel and yes required some leveling and was prepared with my own black screws...
