Purchased this because I was tired of trying to scrape off the gunk that collects on the tip of my plastic spatula. Our family is big on Korean pancakes, omelets, and cookies so a functional spatula is a must! I love this spatula as it makes it easy work to unstick or flip even the most delicate cookies and pancakes. It comes in two sizes, I find the smaller one the perfect size for most of my needs, but it is nice to have two (or gift one!) The larger one did come in handy when I was trying to flip a particularly large flaky filet of salmon. The silicone tip is easy to clean, no more scraping with my fingernails or scrubbing with steel wool! I didn't find the tip too thick as mentioned in some other reviews, it was easy to jiggle the edge in at an angle to get under the food items. I love that it doesn't scrape my pans. I would put this into the category of kitchen essentials for any home cook for sure!

Great, UNTIL both fell apart! Liked these a lot, were very useful until, with each of them, the handle separated from the blade. Appears to have been just glued together, and that failed. Each used about 20 times before useless. Looking for a better choice. Updated: after the above review, the seller contacted me and said they were aware of the issue, had improved their product, and offered to replace both. I accepted, received the replacements promptly, and have used now for months with no problems. I am washing them by hand rather than in the dishwasher. Customer service was great, they initiated the contact with me, and the ‘new’ products seem fine. Recommend based upon that!

Very sturdy and with the silicone tips, you just can't beat these. Definitely recommend

My housemate bought a similar model from a big-box store and loved it until it fell apart after a few years of daily use. Although these are technically fish spatulas, we don't use them for that much of the time. They're sturdy, high quality, lightweight, and just the right shape for any type of pan frying. Mostly we use them for eggs and sausage or bacon, and the occasional omelette. Flipping is perfect. This time we ended up with a set of two. Good heat resistance on the silicone, so we have just the right size for whatever we're cooking. .

Lightweight, narrow edge => so easy to use & so efficient!!! I'll look into this style for multiple styles .

We were getting rid of our black plastic flippers and I came across an Epicurious ad about the “fish flippers”. Although there is some black plastic, it’s only on the handle and is not in contact with food. The metal is flexible and is ideal for flipping or serving fish, lasagne and other foods. I like the silicon lip as it helps protect the pan against scrapes.

These are great, work well.
