Where is my video data stored? Will it be shared with third parties?

You have full control over your data. Choose between local storage using an SD card (card not included) or VIMTAG secure cloud storage with bank-level encryption. We never share your video with third parties—your privacy is our priority.

Does it require professional installation? Can it connect to my existing smart home system?

No professional needed—installation is quick and easy. The camera can be mounted on the wall or ceiling using the included screws and bracket. It works seamlessly with Alexa for voice control and smart home integration.

Is there a recurring cloud storage fee? What are the limitations of the free features?

You can use the camera with your own SD card. Cloud storage is optional and requires a subscription, but all other app features—like live view, motion alerts, and two-way talk—are included at no extra cost.

Does it require frequent charging? Does it support constant power via an adapter?

This is a wired camera designed for 24/7 use. It comes with a 6.5-foot power cable (USB-A to USB-C) and must be plugged into an outlet—no charging needed.
