Best weighted blanket!
This is the best brand of weighted blanket to buy. I really read alot of reviews of Rocabi as well as the many other brands out there. I think Rocabi has mastered the weighted blanket. I have purchased 4 blankets. The first blanket was a 60x80 (15 pounds) which says it fits up to a queen. It didnt seem quite big enough for our queen (didnt go over the edges of bed) so, I purchased the 80x86 (15 pounds) and am very happy with it for our queen size bed. We use the smaller one on a full size guest bed. I purchased 2 more 80x60 (15 pounds), one to use when my other top cover is in the wash and another to gift. The softness of this blanket is awesome. I did not originally realize the snaps on the inside to keep the weighted part and the cover uniform. There are 8 snaps, one on each corner and one in each middle section between the corners. Even the design of the snaps is the best quality. They did not cut cost on this blanket. I would have expected only 4 snaps to keep the cover in place and was happy to see 8! Most importantly, my sleep quality is much better. I actually find myself looking forward to going to bed and actually sleeping! If I did purchase another blanket for myself it would be the 60x80 and I would go up to the 20 pounds. Now that I discovered the snaps on the inside it doesnt seem as heavy because the weight is distributed more evenly. I think the glass beads make all the difference. A few of my friends have blankets that seem so heavy they are hard to move and seem to be filled with sand. I think the glass beads in Rocabi distribute the weight better. I would choose this blanket. They have a 60 day trial period and with prime returns are easy, but I dont think you will return it. You wont be sorry. Well worth the money. Quality makes all the difference!

Nice blanket
I like this weighted blanket, I definitely fall asleep faster with it. I don't know what the trick is to getting the cover on. The snaps are a bit difficult to connect.

Beads do not stay in their pockets
Initially I was very impressed with this blanket. The first few nights were wonderful. I LOVE the Minky it is very soft and very warm. When you receive the blanket it is not tied inside to the Minky so that is something that you need to do right off. We heat with a pellet stove so have no heat in our bedroom; and living Upstate New York it gets cold. There are nights when our bedroom has been a bit below 60 degrees. The problem I have with this blanket is that the glass beads do not stay in their perspective pockets. They have fallen to the edges of the blanket leaving very few in the pockets of the blanket ON the bed itself. We do have a Queen sized bed and are using a King blanket so it does drape a few inches on both sides.; but this is the only way that both of us can have cover with the blanket at night. Two people trying to share a queen we find leaves one without blanket unless you are practically sleeping on top of one another. To conclude I do love the softness of the Minky but to me it's not worth the $159.00 as I would have to get another blanket to put in it to be satisfied. I wouldn't give this to someone because of the fact that the beads don't remain in their pockets so I don't get that hugging feeling that I love from a weighted blanket which is why I gave sleep quality only a three star. If you have a King bed this would be the perfect blanket to use as it wouldn't hang and you may not have the issue with the beads. I hope this helps those looking at this blanket.

I sleep better than I have in my entire life.
If you have wondered if the price is worth it, let me assure you that it is.It's heavy. Don't underestimate what thirty pounds feels like. Getting it straightened out and covering me took getting used to. Once you are under it, moving is wonderfully difficult. It is everything I hoped for. It's not hot at all. I have a hard time with easily overheating under the thinnest of blankets but this doesn't build up as much heat as I expected. When you first get it you'll be tempted to just use it as it is. Take time to tie the burners and seat the inner blanket firmly in the cover. If you don't, it'll end up sliding down around your feet and pooling to one side. Now I'll tell you the shortest version of my story so maybe you'll see if it can help you.I have kicked in my sleep and jerked everything from fingers, to my head, to my whole body my whole life. It's not restless leg or periodic limb movement disorder. It wakes me up around thirty times a night on a bad night.I have Asperger's syndrome.I have ADHD.I have PTSD from years of sexual abuse, which causes crippling fear and anxiety.I have fibromyalgia.I tried medicine and it never made me sleep without making me feel like I was high as a kite. Lyrica caused me to have depersonalization to my own reflection, which scared the crap out of me.Of a daytime I wear compression garments to help anxiety, like a thunder shirt for humans. The first time I crawled under the blanket I fell asleep within minutes and stayed asleep for six hours. I woke feeling rested and serene.Every time I take a nap I use it. It's bliss.I use it all night, every night.I quit taking all the medicine for my fibromyalgia and anxiety within days because I no longer need them.In short, it has truly changed my life.

Good weighted blanket
Just for some context, my reason for getting a weighted blanket is pain relief/ grounding rather than sleep quality. I find pressure relieves some of my chronic pain so being able to put a blanket of pressure on myself seems pretty good.I went for the larger size 25lb blanket. I was debating 20 or 25 until I noticed the 25 was quite a bit cheaper (something like £100 vs £130) so that seemed like a good reason to get the heavier one.I went for the larger size cos I like to bunch up blankets so wanted that bit extra size to do it with. That's actually more than the guide of 10%, but a bigger blanket means less pressure in one place and again I want that pressure.Even with the heavier option I don't find it feels heavy when it's on me. It's definitely heavy to carry, but I'm able to move around under it, adjust it etc easily and it's doesn't feel too much different from any other duvet or blanket.Jury's still out on how effective it is for me, but I'd already decided it was something I wanted to try. It definitely does feel nice in general. It's cosy and comforting. With the cool cover it doesn't get overly hot so still usable even with warmer weather.Bunching it up I'm able to focus more pressure on certain areas and laying under it feels that but more grounding than a standard blanket or duvet. Although for specific areas of pain I do still find my weighted pad (like a small weighted blanket, but heavier) better. It's more pressure and easier to move. This is the second weighted blanket I've tried. The first one I found was quite stiff so although laying flat it was fine I found while I was sitting or laying on my side there were large areas that I didn't feel weight on.Having had that esperience I was cautious about trying another one, but this one is much better in that respect. It's still not quite what I was hoping for (baring in mind I want to really feel the weight in me), but I think it's about as good a a weighted blanket can probably get. I imagine with all the layers involved there's always going to be some level of stiffness. But with this one I am able to lay on my side or sit and feel weight on most of my body. The main thing I like about this blanket is the two covers and the poppers to secure them. My last blanket had velcro that made the edges stuff and noisy. Other blankets have ties which I was worried would be hard to undo after a while of use. I was really pleased to see the poppers on this one.The warm blanket is soft, smooth and cosy. The cool one feels a lot like any basic duvet cover. Nothing to write home about, but nothing bad either. Both have a zip on one edge to open them. I found it pretty easy to fit the blanket by laying the cover down on a bed inside out, laying the blanket on top, securing the poppers then pulling the cover the right way round. There are poppers in each corner and one on each edge. They keep the blanket reasonably secure, but I feel like an extra popper or two on each edge would be better. Not a big deal though. Still totally usable. Just a bit annoying if you grab it in the part with no popper and the blanket sags a bit.I don't find it noisy. It makes some sound with the beads moving inside, but it's a soft and quite sound. I can only hear it when it's close to my ears.Obviously it's pretty expensive, but not really when compared to other weighted blankets (at least from what I've seen). All in all if you want to try a weighted blanket I'd say this is a good one to start with. The two covers and poppers to secure are the real selling point for me.

The Sad Snug Bug Is Now A Happy Snug Bug Of Snug
Further update - after a little back and forth. The seller offered to have 10lb blanket in with the other blanket. The will make it 35lb of cosy. The reason I have struggled and changed my review, because I am not the average user. I am from a bodybuilding so the issue I found was it was lighter when it was spread out. That why I was concerned about the weight. I can see from multiple views that these are personal tastes. I do genuinely love the blanket, I'm glad I chose this brand. I'm even happier with them being helpful and making an effort. Don't worry about this blanket being bad, it's not. I'm glad I do what I normally do, give the seller the chance to make it better before returning. This is why my review has gone up, down and up.Update - oh how I wish I tried this for a week before reviewing. The blanket feels premium. The covers albeit a pain to put on feel premium, but, it is quite light. I didn't notice at first but it's overall weight is what it is. The problem is it's spread out far too much. This defeats the purpose of the blanket. I'm contemplating a return which is sad because I love it. And for my size I need a heavy one and there doesn't seem to be many hitting the 25lb plus weight.I don't get the star rating for lightweight? Obviously I'll give it 1star as it's not lightweight it's 25lbs. I contact Rocabi to ask about which one I should use. After explaining I am a bodybuilder but constantly changing weights we agreed 25lbs is ideal for my current weight. If in doubt ask.Pros-ComfyThe mink is very warm and softThe grey sheet is crisp and coolingIt forms around the body nicelyPerfect home invader deterrentCons-OH MY GOD what a pain it is changing the sheets. It came with the mink sheet on but with it being summer I found I would sweat. Like a genius I decided to change the sheets......bad idea. Don't try and do this if you're dealing with coronavirus symptoms, vomiting, blurred vision and take antipsychotics. This has to be the most infuriating thing I've ever done. Maybe they could find a new design for the future?I don't recommend cheap blankets and this was my first £100+ blanket. It ticks the boxes and feels premium. Also, be aware that your weight is a big factor. Nearly everyother brand I looked at had uptown 10lb this useless when you weigh 230lbs

Was worth it, not so much 6 months later..
Edit after 7 months of having this blanket:The inside pockets have given way and the weighted beads are bunched on the outer sides of this blanket, rendering it quite honestly useless. Really really disappointing for the amount of money I paid for this. If you're willing to spend $300 bi annually then I guess the rest of my review is relevant.ETA: I contacted the company for a replacement under their one year warranty and they did send a replacement when they had one available. I am still very much skeptical of the quality of this product and can't help but feel like the blanket is going to do the same thing. The first one also came with a lovely linen drawstring bag to put the blanket it, my replacement came in a plastic zip up bag, why the change to more plastic in a world with enough plastic? The change makes me believe the blankets are being manufactured faster now to keep up with demand. I guess only time will tell if the blanket holds up.Only reason I am tacking on 2 more stars to my 1 star is because this company actually has exceptional customer service, it's just a shame the product doesn't seem to hold up.------------------------------------------------------------Original Review:I did not choose this blanket on a whim, I shopped around for a weighted blanket for a good two months and finally decided to go with this blanket for a few reasons:1) This is one of, if not the largest, weighted blankets on the market2) They were literally the ONLY company that responded to inquiries (extremely fast, almost instant responses)3) Can never go wrong ordering from Amazon. This blanket is extremely well made, the pockets filled with individual beads are quite small which makes for very even weight distribution while sleeping and moving at night. The soft minky cover is to die for, it's SO cozy and sewn amazingly well, has a very large zipper so it's not a struggle to get the inner blanket to fit inside. I have issues waking up frequently at night and restless leg syndrome and the first night I used it, I did not wake up a single time until morning. If you are shopping around, like I was, stop here and order this blanket because there's probably nothing better and you will not beat their customer service.

My next purchase is going to be a back massager.. lol
Okay... so I have not slept under it yet because it just arrived...But I wasnt expecting that the inside was loose inside the casing... I guess it never occurred to me, whatever, so I picked it up out of the packaging and the entire blanket inside slumped to the floor in a hump leaving me holding the edges of the covering.I attempted to spread it back out but trying to pull it down just made the top half come with it and slump together up top. After bending over for about 15 minutes, sweat dripping off me, I grabbed it and dragged it downstairs. I have my own duvet cover and was hoping to put this blanket inside of it but my attempts to that also failed, so I decided that i would just put it on the bed and just put the duvet cover loose on top of the bed to save my sanity.I got the blanket on the bed and in my attempt to smooth it back out again, it kept dragging my fitted sheet and the mattress cover off the sides and I kept having to reattach them. Finally out of absolute frustrating I just removed the covering it came with and put the blanket on top of the bed... finally done with it all.I wouldnt be surprised if I lost 10lbs from sweating trying to fight with this thing.Anyway... hopefully after all that, I will be able to sleep good with it. I'll update the review when I do.

My cat approved!
Since I've got this weighted blanket, I sleep like a baby every night! I have anxiety disorder and often have trouble sleeping, but now it is now way faster for me to fall asleep! It takes a few nights before getting used to the weight, but I wouldn't go back to a normal blankey. My only regret is to have bought the kit with the lighter "summer" linen, as the "winter" linen is way softer, therefore way more confortable to sleep with (and not too hot). And for people wondering about which one to choose, I took a 25 lbs blanket to use for my boyfriend and I who are both around 180 lbs and this is just perfect! We also have a double bed, so the 60" x 80" was just the right size (but still keep in mind it will cover only the top part of the bed, not the sides).
