First, this thing is heavy, and when loaded it's heavier, so that's the only negative I have. Why did I still give it 5 stars? Because this is like having your own personal frig... I drive from AZ to CA and back, to see my Mom, she's old. I can load this thing up with food, drinks, whatever and I don't have to keep buying ice, I don't have to worry about stuff getting "water logged", and it keeps everything SUPER COLD!!! It runs off my truck power, house power, I've plugged it into battery pack that is solar capable, and if I wanted to fire up my generator, it could run off that. And it holds a gallon of milk, a sixpack of whatever, stuff for sandwiches, whatever. Bottom line, I think it was a very smart purchase on my part and I would highly recommend it. OH!!! and the lid is can be switched to open from either side and it has a light in it that comes on when you open it, and you can use it as a FREEZER, to keep your ice cream froze.... that makes it priceless!!!!

I’ve been in the market for an electric cooler like this for a while and I’m like I pulled the trigger on this one. I got the 20Q size which is perfect for cans, plenty of sandwiches, I even bet you could thaw a turkey in this for Thanksgiving when you pull out the removable rack. The cooler itself is extremely quiet and gets noticeably cold in a couple of minutes. On the lowest setting I was able to get it to 6° in less than 10 minutes; I was really impressed! You can use a car 12v or a normal 120v outlet which is nice because I’ll be able to plug it in my car and my boat. Set up was extremely easy as it came fully assembled I just had to plug it in and press two buttons and there are a lot of cool features like the cup holders, charging cord compartment, and the ability to flip the lid so you can open the cooler either forward or backwards (this is a great feature!). Overall I’m glad I settled on this cooler and didn’t make the mistake of getting on twice the cost, it’s an incredible value.

I have had this cooler now for 6 months and it has been reliable and quite portable. It’s quiet and even in 100+ degree summers, it keeps things icy even on the “eco” setting. I keep this strapped in the back seat of my work truck so it gets used daily. It’s easy to strap down just make sure you keep the vented side unobstructed so the cooler can breath. The door is reversible, which is nice and has a latch to help seal closed. The door comes off the hinge easy. This can be good and frustrating. Frustrating because it’s a pain to reattach while driving. But when I think about other fridge/cooler designs, having a fixed or attached hinge will break inevitably. And when they do, they never go back on right, or never stay closed. This door is designed so that after certain pressure, it will unhinge without breaking.

Better constructed and thought out design . I’ve bought 2 other of these type compressor mini refrigerators from Amazon and this one is a class above. Perfect size for car, inside light , tight insulated lid , just well built.

I’ve bought two of these. I bought one used it as a fridge on a few camping trips. It does really well on 12v and 120v. It seems fairly energy efficient. I can easily power it with my Jackery 1000v2 pretty much indefinitely using only a 100w portable solar panel. Its only draw back is that it could be way better insulated. I taped Reflexit everywhere I could on the unit and it definitely helped a lot, and for the relatively inexpensive price point for this unit I’m totally fine with that. I’ve used it camping in Arizona in 105° temps and had no problems keeping everything cold. I decided to get another unit to use as a freezer and basically have the same experience with it. It’s really great to have a refrigerator and a freezer. The last trip I went on was to California where it was 74° during the day. I have both units and one regular cooler. We were out for a total of 14 days and in that time only bought two bags of ice for the regular cooler to keep our drinks cool. When you’re at a campground with a general store bags of ice easily cost $10 a bag. And if you have three coolers that’s easily $20 every three days or so plus your time getting the ice. We were camping out of ways a couple of years back and had to make a two hour round-trip just to buy ice! I set the freezer unit to just a few degrees above zero and it performed admirably well. But be aware the REFRIGERATION systems in these coolers are not super powerful, they can take a long time to cool stuff down but once it’s cooled down, it will definitely keep it there. A couple of nice little features are a light that turns on when you open the lid and the fact that the lid is reversible meaning you can have it open to the front or open to the back. Another nice feature is the wire basket that sits inside the unit. No more digging around to find stuff just lift the entire basket out to see what it is. You’re trying to get to. Also, super nice is to be able to lift the basket out and wipe out any condensation and then put the basket back in. Great little units and they seem to be holding up very well….
