Review: Xiaomi TV Box 3rd Gen Excellent device for streaming and IPTV. Very smooth performance with no issues or lag. The AI feature works great — it automatically adjusts and recognizes video resolution from Full HD up to 4K. Voice control is responsive, and the system is stable and reliable. Highly recommended.

I bought the Xiaomi TV Box S 4K (3rd Generation) about five months ago, but unfortunately I have been experiencing problems with it almost every day. The device frequently freezes even when I am not running heavy applications. Very often when I try to turn it on, it does not respond to the first press of the remote and I have to hold the button for several seconds. Even after turning on, the device sometimes freezes. Almost every morning I have to unplug the power cable and plug it back in to make it work again. Today I tried to reconnect the remote control hoping it might solve the issue, but now the remote cannot connect to the device at all. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience and I expected much better reliability from this device.

Very good TV box in reasonable price, HDR, Dolby vision-atmos are really good. The only thing missing is audio and eathernet connections, otherwise the box is very good. Amazon delivery is brilliant.

I am writing to report a serious issue with the Xiaomi Android Box I purchased approximately two months ago. From the very beginning, the device was noticeably slow, although it was still functioning. However, the performance continued to deteriorate over time. Now, it does not properly power on at all. The only way to get it to start is by unplugging the adapter and plugging it back in. Even then, it turns on for a few minutes but becomes completely unresponsive. The menu does not work, it does not navigate, and in most cases it does not fully boot up. At this point, the device is entirely unusable. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase, as the product has not functioned properly since the beginning and has now completely failed after only a short period of use. I kindly request that you review this issue and process a return and refund for this defective device as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your prompt response.

That was pretty disappointing, remote stopped powering on the device after the software update, I have to disconnect power cord and connect it again everytime I need to turn it on because Bluetooth always goes to deep sleep and doesn't respond to remote power button. More than that my Xiaomi 2 is performing better and no lagging same as this version 3. Not recommended.

After using some time it still good and everything fine

Works great easy to set up. It’s easy to sideload apps if that’s what you’re into and runs the apps like hbo max and prime video flawlessly I’m very happy with this and the price was right! Now that being said the remote works well feels good but dang is it clicky.

Excellent box. High quality videos. No buffering. Remote is a little difficult to use in the dark. Voice input button is a great bonus. No hdmi socket. Have to use wi fi. I have been using the cheaper boxes in the past. This one is well worth the extra cost, the difference is really noticable. Only disappointment is the lack of UK mains plug.

5 Sterne Ich war ja erst skeptisch, weil diese ganzen kleinen Kisten oft heiß laufen oder die Software nach zwei Tagen einfriert, aber die hier ist echt eine coole Box. IPTV Aufnahme auf einen USB Stick funktionieren gut. Der Anschluss war sowieso total easy, quasi Plug-and-Play. Kabel rein, kurz warten, läuft. Die Verbindung ist dabei absolut sicher, kein Flackern im Bild oder plötzliche Reconnects... das ist ja oft das größte Problem bei diesen kompakten Lösungen. Die Box ist wirklich kompakt, verschwindet fast hinter dem Standfuß vom Fernseher. Das Design ist schlicht, was mir gut gefällt. Für den Preis macht man hier eigentlich nichts falsch, wenn man eine unkomplizierte Lösung für seine Aufnahmen sucht. Würde ich mir definitiv wieder zulegen, weil das Gesamtpaket einfach stimmt und sie nicht so billig wirkt wie viele Konkurrenzprodukte. Passt alles. Was mich wirklich irre macht ist die RückTaste auf der Fernbedienung. Die liegt nicht wie gewöhnlich am linken Rand der Fernbedienung sondern in der Mitte. Das hat zur Folge das ich ständig links drücke und dann in ein völlig wildes Xiaomi TV komme. Aber das ist mein Problem....die Box ist super!
