Great Solution for PC Gaming in the Living Room.
I was looking for a way to stream games from my PC in the office to the TV in the living room, and every source I saw left me with two conclusions: 1) Streaming games from PC to TV is impractical over Wi-Fi. 2) A long HDMI cable is your best bet, but signal loss makes connections over 30 ft unreliable (my computer is about 40 ft from my TV). I finally came across a forum post that recommended this item and, although the price is a little steep, I picked up the 65 ft size, and I don't regret the purchase! Running fiber optic cable was a little intimidating because it can be a bit fragile. You don't want to flex it too much or bend it too sharply. But, with the help of some inexpensive plastic cable conduit I had lying around, I was able to run the cable across my apartment without any trouble, making a few 90-degree bends where necessary. The signal is stable. The picture and colors are clear. There is practically no lag. Everything looks just the same as it would on my PC monitors (better, even, since I don't have high-end gaming monitors). Frankly, until the Steam Machine comes out (and the the inevitable stock-outs and scalping stop), I think this is the next best thing! One thing to note, though: The included HDMI converters at either end are NOT bi-directional. One needs to be plugged into the source, and the other into the display (and the one at the display needs to be powered via USB), otherwise it simply won't work. I read the directions and still managed to forget by the time I was done running the cable and hooking it up. I was at a loss when the picture failed to come through. But it worked great once I remembered and swapped the adapters. Happy gaming!

Great for situations where running a long HDMI cable is not an option
This cable is great. My particular use-case is that I've got a screen, a soundbar, and a Roku Ultra on one side of a very large room and a projector on the other side of the room. Since I'm renting, running a copper HDMI cable through the walls is not an option and they are almost all too thick to tuck under the baseboards or run around doorways without being an ugly eyesore. This cable is very thin and can easily tuck behind my baseboards, around door frame corners and in the gap between my carpet and my tile. As a result I'm able to almost entirely hide it. Works perfectly with eARC, HDR and no latency or lip-synch issues over the 50 foot run.

Great Quality, Customer Service and Lifetime Warranty
This cable really makes the video pop from my Epson 5050UB Projector. I have been using this cable for a full year and have had no issues. I love the removeable HDMI connectors that makes snaking through walls and ceilings much easier. I highly recommend this cable to anyone who has a long run from the AVR to the projector. during the install I had a question and emailed the manufacturer directly. I received a response the next morning which really surprised me. That's great customer service! You can't go wrong with this brand, and with the lifetime warranty, you can feel great that they will take care of any issues quickly.

Works great for a month, then dies.
I really wanted to like this item; customer service is great, it’s easy to fish behind the walls of the house, and it works really well (for about a month). After a month, it stops working; have to unplug it and remove power, then it works for about a week, and gets progressively worse. Contacted customer service, and they sent me a new one almost immediately. But I ran into the same problem; worked for a month, then started dying.

A Pure Fiber HDMI Sleeper Cable to Wake Up your System
I normally don't leave reviews but I'm so impressed with this Ruipro Pure Fiber Cable on initial usage that I wanted to get my thoughts down while still fresh. First a little about my HT equipment, my sources are Ruko 4K ultra, nVidia Shield, Mac Mini all connected to a Marantz 8805 processor which feeds a Panasonic PT-RQ13K, 3-Chip 4K DLP projector with 4K content. The Panny PT-RQ13K can also shift incoming content up to 5K (5120 x 3200) which is slightly above 5K(5120 x 2880). This is all shown on a 120" diagonal acoustic screen in a light controlled. My run is not that long at 35FT but I've always used fiber cables in my HT because I noticed a long time ago that fiber add more vibrance to colors and also brings out fine details over copper HDMI cables IMO. I'm currently running a fiber cable I previously purchased from Amazon but I wanted to give the RUIPRO cable a try because this is only fiber HDMI cable on Amazon which states upfront in the description that its a pure fiber cable with no copper. Installation of the RUIPRO cable was straight forward, I happened to have a 5.0V USB power adapter laying around the house for use with the cable since my projector doesn't have a USB port. Other than that, the instructions are clear and simple. I used "Wicked" and "The Neighborhood" as my test material as both have vivid contrasting colors. Contrast - I notice right away when switch back and forth btw the two fiber cables, the Puipro has the bright cleaner whites. Bright colors and the shiny material in Glenda good witch's dress really shined through. Brightness/Shadow Details - now this is where the Ruipro also shined in the opening scene of Wicked I noticed more punch and richness in the dark and earth tone colors of the scene. There was more 3D depth in the walls and floors and finer details where easily noticed over my other fiber cable. I was impressed and there was a smile on my face as I watched this scene. Colors - This is were I fell in love with this cable because I as I watched the opening of Wicked for the umpteenth time for testing, I really noticed allot more vibrance and depth in colors. When viewing the weaved materials in clothing I could easily see the various colors in the threading of the material. This is were you know you have a good fiber cable because all varying shades of color start to jump out at you and catch your eye. Fine Detail - This is also highlight by this cabled, I noticed right away how buildings had more fine detail depth in the building materials. I could easily see the pitting, layering, and varying shades in the stucco material on the walls. I really noticed the overall improvement of the details in all the scenes in Wicked and The Neighborhood. Improvement in detail help give the content more body and depth it's the difference of seeing eye lashes as a whole versus seeing an individual eyelash clearly if that makes sense. Conclusion - As some one who has been in the HT hobby since 1999 and started out using CRT projector, I'm always on the hunt for improvement to my picture quality and I think RUIPRO is an improvement over other fiber cable and copper even if your run is not that long. The improvements are easily visible especially in video content with multi hues of colors and materials. Darken scenes will have more visible textures and depths and test with sharper and easier to read. I purchased this cable with my own funds and this is the first product I've purchased from this RUIPRO. I cannot comment on longevity of the cable due to the short ownership period. Should it fail in a short period of time, I will update my review. Hope this review helps someone else make a decision on this cable because I think this is a sleeper and should be tried in your system. You can always send it back if it doesn't wake up the color vibrance and fine details of your particular setup but it will not turn a $400 TV/Projector into a $5000 TV/Projector Semper FI & Enjoy Andre

Who needs a steam machine
I've wanted to have the ability to play my pc games while sitting on the couch as an alternative to the computer desk for years. After trying so many different hdmi cables to get this to work this cable is the actual solution. I've been amazed by its performance so far, seeing ultra quality 120hz on a big quality tv is spectacular. One minor issue, sometimes when turning the tv on (or setting input to the pc) it will be recognized by the computer but the tv will still display no signal, sometimes there's only a small delay but other times it will stay as no display. This is always fixed by either disabling and renabling the monitor in windows, full powering cycling the tv or resetting the computer. Once up and running to this point I've never once had any signal loss or drop in my experience using the cable. I've tested it with multi-hour gaming sessions and its been a flawless experience.

Looong cable is easy to hide and fixed ground loop noise
Got this to plug a PC into the living room TV from across the house. Works great and eliminated group loop noise from the PC to my sound system, and my PC knows whether the TV is on or not so it never causes issue with displays at my desk. I only have the USB plug connected in the TV end, and have no issues with 4K 144Hz + 7.1 audio. Fiber cable is super thin and the plug ends are standardized so these work well with wall panels and run through walls. Only real comment is the source plug can get a little toasty - though this could be heat soap from the GPU and doesn't seem to cause any issues.

Excellent Video and Stunning Audio - a solid 10
I have a drawer full of various HDMI cables ranging from the reasonably priced to - well let's say that I had a few extra $ burning a hoe in my pocket. In brief, the video section of all of these cables was quite similar with minor variations in color accuracy and blackness all in the excellent video category - as was this one. Where this one shined was in its audio reproduction. If you're considering a step up in a HDMI cable, you probably have a nice home theater with both good audio and video components. Ours is one of those, not your Box Store special but an 85" Sony and a bunch of other gear that most people think is insane. To each their own, I say, and some find $ spent in clothes or watches or cars or trips. Ours goes into the home theater and this cable was an excellent addition. As mentioned, its video performance was on par with the most expensive cables we own but the game changer was in the audio quality. We initially did not like it finding the upper midrange a bit harsh but after about 20 hours of break-in time, that settled down and the inner detail came alive. For example, while listening to Pandora streamed from our Fire TV Cube nuances in stringed instruments and vocals were no longer in the background but easily distinguished without being overbearing or "wrong." A Steinway sounded more like a Steinway and you can easily distinguish it from a Yamaha. It's uncanny since all other copper HDMI connections could not achieve this from Pandora. Movies, well you may see things you've never seen or heard before. So if you're looking to step up the audio and video quality in your own home theater, you may want to give these a try. BTW, they are directional where if you put them in backwards, you get nothing. Just swap connections end-to-end and all will be well. One word of note is that they do require USB power on both ends, something most good equipment has available, even our meager Fire TV Cube has it.

Future-proofed
Well worth the cost. Having a cable you can run through a wall and forget about it, even when upgrades are needed, is a huge benefit. You can switch the HDMI heads; since it is fibre-optic, it is essentially future-proofed. When it's time to upgrade, you only need to change the connectors, not the entire cable. As long as you supply power to both ends of the HDMI connector, it works seamlessly.
