Finally fixed my 100 ft HDMI blackout problem
I bought this for a difficult 100 ft HDMI run from my equipment area to an 83" Sony OLED, going through a Denon AVR-X3800H. I had been fighting random HDMI blackouts/handshake issues for a long time. My previous setup worked just well enough to be frustrating — sometimes it would run for 10–20 minutes, sometimes only a few minutes, and then I’d get a short black screen. I tried many different settings on both the Sony TV and the Denon receiver: CEC, ARC/eARC, enhanced HDMI modes, different HDMI inputs, and other combinations. I could improve things a little, but I could never get it fully stable. I also tried an HDMI-over-Cat7 extender before this. That worked for basic video, but the handshake was slow and the picture never felt quite like a clean native HDMI connection. This RUIPRO cable fixed it immediately. I tested it on the floor first before putting it in the wall. It ran clean all day and evening with the TV and Denon back on their normal/default settings. No flickers, no blackouts, no long wait for the picture to stabilize. The detachable ends were a big deal for me. I still had to work to get it into the wall, but the smaller cable end made the install possible without completely tearing things apart. I powered the display/TV end with USB as instructed. Bottom line: if you are trying to do a long HDMI run to a good TV/projector and you’re getting random blackouts or handshake problems, this cable is worth trying. For my Sony OLED + Denon AVR setup, it solved a problem that multiple other approaches did not.

Looong cable is easy to hide and fixed ground loop noise
Got this to plug a PC into the living room TV from across the house. Works great and eliminated group loop noise from the PC to my sound system, and my PC knows whether the TV is on or not so it never causes issue with displays at my desk. I only have the USB plug connected in the TV end, and have no issues with 4K 144Hz + 7.1 audio. Fiber cable is super thin and the plug ends are standardized so these work well with wall panels and run through walls. Only real comment is the source plug can get a little toasty - though this could be heat soap from the GPU and doesn't seem to cause any issues.

Great for situations where running a long HDMI cable is not an option
This cable is great. My particular use-case is that I've got a screen, a soundbar, and a Roku Ultra on one side of a very large room and a projector on the other side of the room. Since I'm renting, running a copper HDMI cable through the walls is not an option and they are almost all too thick to tuck under the baseboards or run around doorways without being an ugly eyesore. This cable is very thin and can easily tuck behind my baseboards, around door frame corners and in the gap between my carpet and my tile. As a result I'm able to almost entirely hide it. Works perfectly with eARC, HDR and no latency or lip-synch issues over the 50 foot run.

Works great for a month, then dies.
I really wanted to like this item; customer service is great, it’s easy to fish behind the walls of the house, and it works really well (for about a month). After a month, it stops working; have to unplug it and remove power, then it works for about a week, and gets progressively worse. Contacted customer service, and they sent me a new one almost immediately. But I ran into the same problem; worked for a month, then started dying.

Great Solution for PC Gaming in the Living Room.
I was looking for a way to stream games from my PC in the office to the TV in the living room, and every source I saw left me with two conclusions: 1) Streaming games from PC to TV is impractical over Wi-Fi. 2) A long HDMI cable is your best bet, but signal loss makes connections over 30 ft unreliable (my computer is about 40 ft from my TV). I finally came across a forum post that recommended this item and, although the price is a little steep, I picked up the 65 ft size, and I don't regret the purchase! Running fiber optic cable was a little intimidating because it can be a bit fragile. You don't want to flex it too much or bend it too sharply. But, with the help of some inexpensive plastic cable conduit I had lying around, I was able to run the cable across my apartment without any trouble, making a few 90-degree bends where necessary. The signal is stable. The picture and colors are clear. There is practically no lag. Everything looks just the same as it would on my PC monitors (better, even, since I don't have high-end gaming monitors). Frankly, until the Steam Machine comes out (and the the inevitable stock-outs and scalping stop), I think this is the next best thing! One thing to note, though: The included HDMI converters at either end are NOT bi-directional. One needs to be plugged into the source, and the other into the display (and the one at the display needs to be powered via USB), otherwise it simply won't work. I read the directions and still managed to forget by the time I was done running the cable and hooking it up. I was at a loss when the picture failed to come through. But it worked great once I remembered and swapped the adapters. Happy gaming!

Great Quality, Customer Service and Lifetime Warranty
This cable really makes the video pop from my Epson 5050UB Projector. I have been using this cable for a full year and have had no issues. I love the removeable HDMI connectors that makes snaking through walls and ceilings much easier. I highly recommend this cable to anyone who has a long run from the AVR to the projector. during the install I had a question and emailed the manufacturer directly. I received a response the next morning which really surprised me. That's great customer service! You can't go wrong with this brand, and with the lifetime warranty, you can feel great that they will take care of any issues quickly.

Who needs a steam machine
I've wanted to have the ability to play my pc games while sitting on the couch as an alternative to the computer desk for years. After trying so many different hdmi cables to get this to work this cable is the actual solution. I've been amazed by its performance so far, seeing ultra quality 120hz on a big quality tv is spectacular. One minor issue, sometimes when turning the tv on (or setting input to the pc) it will be recognized by the computer but the tv will still display no signal, sometimes there's only a small delay but other times it will stay as no display. This is always fixed by either disabling and renabling the monitor in windows, full powering cycling the tv or resetting the computer. Once up and running to this point I've never once had any signal loss or drop in my experience using the cable. I've tested it with multi-hour gaming sessions and its been a flawless experience.

Cables work well
This is day one, and my display is snappier. The sound even works over the fiber connection. It was very easy to set up. Now I just need to run them in the wall. My PCs sit on a table behind my desk on sliding disks. This way I can spin my chair around to clean and work at will. Also, this fiber cable takes stress off the HDMI ports. So why did I give only 4 Stars??? The price. The cable cost $15, and the HDMI connectors cost $100 by themselves. If one of the HDMI connectors goes out, you must buy a whole new cable and connectors. Micro USB for something that costs so much. I hate these connectors; they always go bad on me. My basic setup: Two LG C3 55-inch sitting 14 feet away (due to Old age eye strain. Long cell phone sections are a no-no for me). One MSI 27-inch 1440P (some things you need in your face for a short while). One Daily driver PC, older AMD One High PC i9-14900K RTX 4090 Gaming / Simulator PC Lots of flight gear. P.S. Now Day three. The 10-meter (33-foot) cables are now in the wall and working very well as full HDMI cables on my smaller daily driver PC. I hook up the USB power cable to both the Display and the Source connectors. I am now not so stressed out about the ports on my RTX 3080 and OLED TV. Now I need to order 3 more. Two 45-foot for the RTX 4090 PC and one 65-foot for my media room projector and AVR. Why has my AVR doubled in price, and as we all know, the RTX 4090 is in some places 2.5 times more expensive than what I paid for it.

Solving HDMI Cable Woes with a High-Performance Upgrade
The product has been fantastic so far! I’m using it with my Nvidia Shield Pro, Denon 11.2 receiver, and a 4K laser projector setup. The main reason I purchased this product was to resolve issues with my old HDMI cable, which was routed through the ceiling and couldn’t support HDR10. This new product caught my attention because it supports all the latest standards and delivers uncompressed data at speeds of up to 48Gbps. With those specs, I knew I had to give it a try. So far, it’s been a great solution to my issue. I’ll provide updates regarding quality or any potential issues as I continue using it. -UPDATE- I have been using the product for the last 2 months without issues or concerns. I am now able to watch HDR10+ source without any degradation in picture quality or loss of picture.
