They’re also attractive and I’ve had several compliments on them, even down to the color. I have trouble with swelling in my feet sometimes so I ordered them a half size larger, they fit great either way. When my feet are swillen they’re just a little bit harder to wiggle into. That said they don’t hurt at all once they’re on. When I have no swelling at all they don’t try to slip off due to the elastic laces conforming to my foot. Over the years I’ve had several different styles of Sketchers from plain old sneakers to Go Walks. Gotta say this boat shoe is my absolute favorite. If these hold up as long as my go walks have, I’d technically never need another pair of shoes in what’s left of my life. But I love these so much I may get another pair in a different color just to have a change or for when these are in the wash. They are washable as per description. So glad they showed up in my recommendations. But they turned out to be amazing on board! Flexible for all those flexed and bent positions your feet get in sailing, sturdy enough not to stub my toes, comfy comfy comfy, I never once slipped on the wet deck, and they're adorable! Highly recommend for any boating activity (these only touch the surfaces of boats, to avoid street-gunk getting on board) and they're probably great walking shoes too. Will be buying another pair.
