Great easy water timer
I really like Unistyle's WI.-Fi water timer, it is my favorite, but this is a close second with a very easy to read screen and high functionality. Super intuitive and easy to control menus for a fast and easy set-up

Very good quality timer
This is a surprisingly good quality water timer. Takes 2 AA batteries (you provide) which install in the back of the unit after removing a rubber cover. I like that no screws or clips are involved, the cover is held in place simply by friction. The single rotating knob on the front of the unit performs all functions. Press the knob while it is on the time function, and hour starts blinking. Rotate the knob to set the hour, advancing past 12 to switch from AM to PM. Press again to set the hour and go the minute. Once set another press locks in the time. Same general idea for setting the on/off time, how long the water will run (up to 360 minutes, then it loops back to 0), frequency (every 1 day, every 2 days, etc), and then some manual overrides. Kudos for a super simple interface! The brass fittings are rock solid, and they even include a small spool of white plumbing tape in case you want to use some on the connections. I use this timer with a hose splitter that leads to two rotating sprinklers. I set the timer for 5:30 am for 60 minutes and to run every day, and it works great!

Brass Fittings Over Plastic
At first glance, this garden hose connector gives off a premium vibe with its brass fittings. Upon closer inspection, however, it's clear that the brass is connected to plastic, not metal all the way through. This design choice means that while it looks sturdy, it's probably susceptible to cracking or failure if you apply too much force or pull on the hose aggressively, which is true of most of these types of timers.Others have praised its ease of installation and leak-free performance under normal conditions, and surprisingly, it comes with a mini-roll of teflon tape. It's a convenient solution for quick hose connections and disconnections, and I've had no issues. The rain delay is nice, while no included batteries is less nice.

Nice Timer for watering the lawn on schedule
This is a nice timer for watering the lawn on schedule. Out of the box, the unit looks like a solid piece. The brass connections are a welcome upgrade from the usual plastic of other versions. I was also impressed that it came with a small roll of Teflon plumber's tape in case you really wanted to improve the seal's water resistance.Instal was easy with unscrewing the water hose and screwing this in place. I was impressed that the battery compartment had a rubber seal around the edge for more water resistance. After it was all set up, it was not leaking, and the timer was easy to set, with the functionality and controls easy to program and pretty obvious.I have had several timers over the years, some of which are no longer with us due to freezing, and this one is by far the best. I will have to remind myself not to leave it outside in freezing temperatures, as the insides may crack.

Easy to program
This is probably the easiest hose controller I have ever programed. Easy easy easy. It turns the water on and off as programed. Timer is accurate. Its always the durability that is in question. I always expect a year. I live in the desert, so watering happens year-round. I will update if my expectations are not met.

Okay, but nothing special
First impressions out of the box is that this timer is moderately well made although I have my doubts about the “waterproof” battery cover actually being waterproof. The cover is a friction fit with what looks to be a silicone gasket rather than being fastened in place with screws which has been my experience with other brands of timers. Since these things tend to be semi-permanent installations, the manufacturer very helpfully included a tiny roll of teflon tape, although unless you have good manual dexterity I'd advise using your own teflon tape since the included roll is *very* small and hard to handle. The programming is somewhat similar to other brands, but nowhere in the instructions did I find mention that you might, on initial programming, have to hold down both the “confirm” button (located in the center of the dial) at the same time as turning the selector to move the programming pointer. I both like and dislike that the dial is very sensitive to change. In other words, there are no detents and you do not have to click through 30 minutes, backwards or forwards, to set a time. One thing I don't like is that you have to go through the programming to enter into a manual mode which is very inconvenient if you just need to use the hose for a while. I much prefer a separate button for this function. The programming is just persnickety. For the price I think there are better, easier to use, timers out there.

Simple and straightforward programming.
Timer was easy to program and set up. It seals well and I had no leaks. I was able to set it for 20 minutes of watering every third day. Truly functional. I did have to install batteries, but luckily I had some AA batteries in the drawer, so not a problem. I think the convenience of having my watering on a schedule is definitely worth the price.

Super Handy Timer That Just Works
I’ve gone through a few hose timers over the years, and this one from Unistyle has been the easiest to use and most reliable so far. The setup took just a few minutes, and the screen is large and simple to read—no confusing buttons or menus.I mainly got this to automate watering while I’m busy or away, and it’s been great for that. The scheduling works exactly as expected, and I haven’t had to constantly check or reset it like with some of the cheaper models I’ve used before. It’s also been holding up really well in the weather—rain, sun, no issues. One feature I didn’t know I’d love is the rain delay. It skips watering when it’s wet out, which saves water and effort. I also appreciate being able to quickly turn it on manually if I just want to spot-water a few plants.Overall, this thing just makes life easier. It does what it’s supposed to without drama, and that’s all I really wanted. Would absolutely buy again.
