Don't waste your time looking for the other cages on the market, that is if you're looking for a collapsible cage.The cages I mention here are all the same dimensions, the advertisement says it's 24.5 inches wide, but they're all about 22.4 inches wide, 35.5 inches length, and 48 inches high.I wanted a collapsible cage, Safe, good quality, easy to clean, with sturdy shelves, and have found it with the Parpet /ProSelect Cage. I wanted something small too to fit in my room. (I recommend placing a couple of zip ties on the sides of the cage for safety).After reading the reviews for the ProSelect Cage, I read that some people had difficulty with placement of the shelves, and thought they were correct, until I realized I could manipulate it by removing all the metal clasps in the center/middle of the cage, and replaced it with a couple of zip ties, which allows for easy placement of the shelves any where you choose.To make a wider platform, I placed the two shelves together with the straight sides flush, and was able to place them on the upper half level of the cage, (where the two bars join, is why I removed the metal clasps), where the top door opens, and I'm still able to close the door!The door (ProSelect) is large enough to reach in and clean, the handle is easy to open and close. The only complaint about the door is that it doesn't sit completely flush against the cage, when leaving it wide open.The bottom tray can be pulled out from the front of the cage, which was smart design placement.The casters are easy to assemble, it doesn't take too long to figure out the parts and how it fits together.Overall, I'm very pleased with the condo cage, and highly recommend this cage. It's easy to put together, and take it apart for cleaning. Plus this is made in Taiwan.I also just purchased the Parpet Cat condo because they look exactly identical, a little less expensive. I will review that condo once it arrives...(I don't recommend the Amazon Basics, it was extremely heavy, and the shelves are separate, they sit on top of the metal shelf frame. I was afraid the plastic could be easily tipped over, and I didn't care for the design feature of the door handle, plus the bottom tray opens from the side of the cage, not the front like the Parpet/ProSelect cage, so I repackaged it and shipped it back!The next one I tried was the Midwest Cat Playpen, DO NOT waste your time with this cage, all the horrible reviews are basically correct, it wasn't aligned, had so many gaps in the corners and top of the cage, poorly constructed and cheaply made in China, and the shelves are not sturdy at all! I would not recommend purchasing that cage at all for safety reasons!)

This cage is great for a growing kitten. Bought it when my kitten was three months old and it has accommodated all of his growing feline needs. I placed a large covered litter box in it as well. The shelves adjust easily, and it provides enough space for him to move around. I purchased a hammock for him and it works well, also. The kitten is black and he looks great in the purple cage. I used double stick tape to secure some shelf liner on the shelves, as when he was younger he slipped a bit even though the shelves are textured plastic. Overall, it was a great purchase. I enjoy hanging different cat toys for him to play with from the top.

We were looking for a large outdoor cage for a sun conure since hers was getting old. Didn’t see any bird cages that would be big enough when she’s enjoying the fresh air, so we decided to try this cat cage. It’s been 2 months and it works great. I was concerned that the bars width might be an issue but apparently they are fine for her. We did raise it on bricks. It gets hosed down every evening when we bring her in. We remove the bottom tray so the water can flow out. So far it is holding up well.

When I had to evacuate due to Hurricane Florence I was limited as to where I could take all 5 of my animals with me. Stayed with family who wasn’t comfortable having 3 cats & 2 dogs roaming around their home. So I opted for a large cat condo & attempted to make them (my cats) as comfortable as possible, since they had not ever been confined like this. Also purchased a couple hammocks to use with this condo. I definitely recommend this condo. It was super easy to assemble & very sturdy even with my larger cats jumping from shelf to shelf in it. In addition, the hammocks I purchased separately were able to be easily secured to the cat condo. I highly recommend this product to anyone with cats or kittens.
