Works really well and super affordable

The curl cream and wax stick are fine, but I absolutely love this brush.
In short, this is a pretty decent styling set, the best part of which is the brush which is now my favorite. The cream is a good leave-in conditioner/ curl cream, but nothing extraordinary. The wax stick is not as useful as traditional pomade, but is a great on-the-go natural scent-free solution to tame fly-aways and other hair style issues for both men and women. A full review follows. My set was packed in a clear plastic bag that contained the wax, styling cream and the brush. The wax stick is in a push-up style metal container with a screw-on lid. The container is 1 ½ inches in diameter and 3 ½ inches tall. The wax’s ingredients are listed on the stick; I’ve included them at the end of my review. Essentially it is a mix of natural waxes and oils, an emulsifier, a preservative, fragrance and vitamin E. I think that is about as natural a list of hair wax (or pomade) ingredients can be. I have no concerns with any ingredients in the wax.Instructions as described on the wax stick are to apply the wax directly to the hair or to a comb, then comb/ style your hair. For a touch-up, I applied the wax directly to my hair, much the same way I would apply deodorant to my pits. The wax fixed fly aways and frizz pretty well, though maybe not as well as a good pomade. I did find the push up stick to be a bit difficult to control and at times could press down with application. The cream was in a pinky-red cardboard box 1 ¾ x 1 ¾ x 7 ½ inches and the tub inside was of the same length. The styling cream’s ingredients are listed on the box and the tube. Again, I have included these ingredients at the end of my review**. I am very happy with the ingredients and find the formula to be simple and well-balanced for moisturizing, smoothing, and strengthening hair. Like the wax, I found no ingredients in the cream concerning. The instructions for the cream indicate to apply the cream to pre-washed and conditioned hair evenly. Then to gently rub and shape hair before blow drying. These instructions indicate to me the cream is much more of a curl cream / leave-in conditioner than a styling cream/ gel. I used the cream as instructed on my long loopy hair. Out of the tube it is an opaque white gel-like cream, similar to other leave-in conditioners with a pleasant salon-type smell, though I am not sure what that smell is. I found it worked similarly to my favorite leave-in conditioners to give my curls extra shine and bounce while helping to reduce frizz. The brush’s dimensions are as described on the Amazon page (8.7 x 1.6 x 1.2 inches), with the bristle area 4 x 1.25 and 0.6 inches tall. In my tests of this brush, it worked fantastic—batter than any brush I’ve had and it has convinced me of the benefits of boar bristle brushes-- Mostly that they trap less electrical charges than plastic combs, minimizing flyways, and that the keratin in the bristles closely matches that of human hair and can better smooth the hair cuticle to make hair more manageable.Overall, I am super happy, with this product, just because of the brush, which has become my new favorite hair brush. I did also love the ingredients in the wax and cream but I was not overwhelmed by the results of those products like I was with the brush. Still that brush makes this an easy five-star rating from me.*Wax stick ingredients: : beeswax, castor seed oil, hydrogenated avocado oil, hydrogenated castor oil, rhus verniciflua peel wax, sorbitan stearate, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, coumarin, geraniol, linalool, vitamin E (tocopherol).**Cream ingredients: AQUA, CETEARYL ALCOHOL. DODECYLHEXADECYLTRIMO-NIUM CHLORIDE, GLYCERIN, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL HYDROLYZED KERATIN.

Hair care kit
Bristle brush was ok but the bristles started to fall out after a few uses. We did not use the styling cream as it had a very strong scent. The wax stick helped a lot with small fly away hairs for my daughters.

excellent for smoothing
The set delivers a quick way to style your hair into a sleek bun or ponytail. I wasn't too fond of the styling cream and did not add any benefit to my hairstyle. The wax stick is very useful. It's excellent for smoothing, especially around edges and part lines and works well for both straight and textured hair. The bristle brush is firm enough to smooth down frizz and baby hairs. It helps distribute product evenly for a sleek finish.

Nice smelling anti-frizz kit
This set has a nice natural bristle brush, really helpful for smoothing down chaotic frizz, especially when your hair is already braided and you don't have time to take it down, rebrush and rebraid your hair, but the frizzies are getting out of hand. The wax stick is very easy to deploy--I love this sort of deodorant dispenser design. You can rub it directly on the hair or onto your hands or onto the brush, to distribute it on the hair. It smells awesome! The ingredients on the wax say it's beeswax, castor oil, hydrogenated avocado oil, hydrogenated castor oil, rhus verniciflua peel wax, sorbitan stearate, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, coumarin, geraniol, linalool, vitamin E.The styling cream comes in its own product box, shrink wrapped, and with a foil safety seal inside the screw cap. It's not very scented, but it is very moisturizing. The ingredients say: water, coconut oil, shea oil, linseed oil, and phalaenopsis amabilis extract. It's clear, thick gel and easy to spread without any visible lumps; dry hair like mine will soak it up rapidly. I apply the gel before the wax, so the wax can seal in the moisture from the gel. It isn't sticky the way some styling creams are--don't expect it to glue your hair in place. It's fighting fritz via moisture and glossiness, not turning your hair into a plastic helmet. It results in much healthier looking hair!Overall, great kit! The bristles on the brush do shed a bit, but that's my only complaint and I know it's normal for boar bristle brushes.

Good trio set…works well
Good combo pack here! The price is also great for what you get.The brush is a good quality bristle brush. The bristles are stiff which I like. I haven’t had many bristles fall out of the brush yet like I usually do with bristle brushes. I will update this review if I notice an excess amount of bristles falling out while using. The hair wax stick is a good one. I have used plenty of these before and this one is very similar. This one has a faint scent that I do like but it doesn’t last when applied to the scalp or the baby hair around the face. The styling cream really does not have a strong scent. The product seemed a little sticky between my fingers but it isn’t once applied to hair. I have used this now on wet and dry hair. This also doesn’t have a real strong hold. When I use the product on wet hair right out of the shower it probably works better than when I use it on my dry hair. It holds the curl better when the hair is damp. It does not have strong hold though.I will purchase this trio set again….especially if the brush holds up.
