They hold up well, but they tend to come out of the top lace up eyes on the top half of the boot while I'm working. now I just go around the back of my boot and around and the tie the knot in it instead of uses the upper eyes.

My boyfriend is a welder fabricator, and these are a necessity! Exactly like the ones you’d get from Boot Barn, but perfect for people who are lazy like me and don’t want to drive there. These have held up well and have yet to snap.

Husband enjoyed them

I have a pair of hiking boots that shred laces. The ones that came with the boots lasted 4 months, I than tore through 4 or 5 big box store boot laces. I found these, and they have lasted at least 3 years and still going strong. I purchased a second pair for a new pair of boots im breaking in.

Haven't broken 'em yet.Fall 2018 edit: left one has broken twice. I think because eyelets on my boots have too sharp edges. So I believe these laces are not very abrasion resistant. Customer service was very responsive. They offered me another set, but I think I'll go back to nylon laces.

Hey welders dream laces

When I first found these, about 3 years ago. Loved them. Told all my coworkers about them. One pair would last until I need new work boots. Now the last two sets I bought. Broke after maybe two months use. Same job. Same conditions. And not happy with them anymore

I have been wearing them for two months without any damage. I both weld and cut with a deck saw.
