Pandoras Upholstery 10 Mts White Cotton Muslin Voile Fabric Curtain

I got this in summer as it became evident that the conservatory would bake anything that sat in it for too long. It was surprisingly useful and did help somewhat in providing a cooler spot

I have been replacing the horrendous vertical blinds that make me feel claustrophobic and wanted to make nets from cotton (it doesn't yellow like polyester) I thought this would be an inexpensive way to do a few windows. I did most on a machine but even hand sewed one with small running stitches, both look good. Visitors have commented how fresh they look. I washed the fabric first because of shrinkage, it washed well, ironed well and looks lovely hanging.

A useful fabric for dyeing & experimental colouring by different methods. A natural for Shibori.

It is quite a thin material so if your thinking of using this for sewing you may wish to rethink but if it’s not for sewing and your not bothered by thickness I guess it’s cool.

Surprisingly good quality for the price.A much more aesthetically-pleasing alternative to traditional net curtains.:)
