I love the way this battery come with the acid in a separate container. This way it can be new when I fill it. It takes a while to fill and absorb before charging but it seems like a great way to get a real new battery. I think it'll last a long time.

I ordered this battery from DVolt Batteries via Amazon. The battery arrives un-activated. That means that you have to fill it with sulfuric acid and then charge it. Sounds fairly easy, just realize that it takes quite a while before it will be ready to use. And Sulfuric acid is kinda scary stuff to work with.The battery arrived quicker than expected. Brownie points for DVolt for very quick shipping. The acid is actually very easy and safe to use - it's in a container with six cells that match/line-up with the battery cells exactly. you align the acid cells with the battery cells and press down, the battery will puncture the acid cells and then the acid flows into the battery. Slowly. This takes over half an hour, closer to an hour.After the battery has been filled with acid, you remove the empty acid cells, place a permenant cap on the battery (make sure you line it up exactly), then let it sit for a coyuple hours. Next, check the voltage - it will be low. There are guidelines supplied by the manufacturer. finally you have to trickle charge it, basically overnight. Next day you're ready to go.My bettery came slightly damaged in shipping. I didn't notice the damage until I was ready to install it. I let DVolt know via Amazon and they were very good to work with. It took a couple tries to get the problem resolved, but I now have a good, functional battery. Another brownie point for DVolt.I have another YUASA battery, the same model, and it's performed flawlessly for 6 years now, even sitting outside one Minnesota winter. I love these batteries! I don't care much for the mail order activation part of it, but it's really not that bad.

OEM battery that usually last me 4-6 years on my Honda Rincon that sits more then it runs. I I I mainly only use during deer season and another half dozen times a year through out the year for deer plots. I do charge it mid year with a trickle charger.

The battery was loaded with its liquid.I let it rest for a couple of hours,I loaded on to the four wheeler and it crank like Lightning, ran it for a few hours.I’ve noticed that it started loosing voltage rapidly and never recovered even charging it.It wouldn’t take charge.

This battery was very fresh when I received it because it was very active when I added the acid (acid pack included). It's very important to wait until the battery has cooled and properly absorbed the acid into the plates (1-3 hours min.) before the sealing strip is gently installed using only your thumbs. The battery should be room temperature when the acid goes in and room temperature when the the initial charge is applied, this needs to be done with a proper initializing charger, I use an Optimate 6 gold in the 14.4 volt setting until the battery is fully charged, your battery will last a very long time if you ALWAYS keep it fully charged using a charger with a really good maintenance/storage program like the one mentioned.

Bought this battery for my son's 600 Grizzly ATV. The quad is a 2001 and this battery was the original. Figured if it lasted for 15 years, I should stick with OME rather than going to a less expensive aftermarket unit. The battery had to filled and sealed upon arrival, let it sit for a period and then charge. Easy to fill, easy to follow instructions. Battery was installed and the old Grizz came to life quickly for play once again. Tried a few stop/starts and it was effortless. Purchased from Lebel Chain Saw and had no issues. Battery was new and as described and was delivered much faster than anticipated. Good purchase. Highly recommend installing OME replacement components.
