Scandvik 40000P Clean Way Fuel Fill Kit

This is a long overdue invention. It is excellent and has the potential to stop lots of fuel spills into the water. Glad to have it.

The fuel fill kit did almost eliminate all the fuel spilling from my boat during fill ups. The kit had all the right pieces to fit the boat and fuel nozzle at our local marina and was easy to put together using the included permatex sealant. The only recommended improvement would be to figure a way to accommodate the chain utilized in all boats for keeping the fuel cap from becoming a fish attracter at the bottom of the body of water. The chain gap does allow some fuel to weep out during the fill, but it isn't really an issue. The unit is well made and has all that you'd need to make it work for almost any boat and fueling station. Job well done.

As of nowI have not used it but it is made of quality materials. The filler neck on my boat is apparently not a standard size. I called the company directly and they shipped me the fitting I needed. Great costumer service. I have great expectations that this will end my fueling spills.

Disappointing. I have an issue with the air pushing back out through the gas filler opening when I'm fueling our boat. According to the You-Tube videos this was supposed to solve that problem. It helped somewhat but did not resolve the problem.

does not work as described. Tossed it in the dumpster. waste of money. The reason is the cap "chain" make for a bad seal thus spilling gas all over the place.

This thing is great. I always had trouble with the tanks on my boat "burping" fuel at a fillup. With this the problem is solved and the tanks even seem to take fuel faster. Buy one, you won't be dissapointed. It comes with several rubber adaptors to fit various size filler necks.
