Honestly I thought this was going to taste bad but it's pretty good. I've struggled to find a protein powder I could stomach but so far this one is great. Tastes like slightly watered down, kinda bitter lemonade when you follow package instructions. I'm gonna start mixing a little juice in to make it sweeter and more palatable but I could tolerate it as is. Most important is the fact that it's not super thick and chalky like other protein powders, it's fairly thin so I could drink it quickly if needed. Clumps and foaming is kinda gross but not such a huge issue that it retracts from the overall quality

I needed some way to get in additional protein after a surgery, as my vegetarian diet wasn't cutting it, but I HATE the texture and flavor of common protein powders - chalky, in texture and flavor, with an indescribably unpleasant aftertaste, in my opinion.This really does cut that problem in half. There is absolutely no chalkiness, it at least looks and feels just like crystal light, and it still does the job. (Note: it is NOT vegetarian, so don't order this if you're a *strict* vegetarian. I make exceptions when it doesn't look or taste like an animal.)I did not love the flavor. I got the fruit punch flavor and it kind of tastes good for a moment, but has a very bitter aftertaste. In my opinion it DOESN'T taste just like crystal light, contrary to some of the other reviews. At least, that was my experience. I have noticed that I'm a lot more sensitive to bitter flavors than other people in my life, so you may not experience that at all. But if you ARE sensitive to bitter flavors, be prepared to drink this as quickly as possible. It still beats a chalky powder drink, and it's much easier to chug, so considering just how much I dislike every other option, I'm considering this 4 stars even though I dislike the flavor. Most people will probably like this better than me because of my picky taste buds, so I do think it is deserved.

Wow. I’m going to start out by saying I have always loathed protein shakes. They are thick, overly sweet, and pretty rough on my stomach. It has always been a chore to get one down and I would feel terrible afterwards.Not anymore. This product is a game changer for me. Consistency is just a little thicker than water. Very easy to get down.Flavor is amazing! I can only speak to the mango lime so far, but it’s like drinking a refreshing lemonade. It’s not overly sweet, In fact it’s a little tart. I make it with cold refrigerated water. I think that is the way to go. Shake it up real well in a blender bottle (shaker bottle) and then LET IT SIT for a few minutes. Every thing dissolves and it’s perfectly mixed and clear after a few minutes. I actually enjoy the drink. Can you believe that?! While one could chug it very easily, I like to take my time and enjoy it. I’ve been having one with every meal. I will be trying a new flavor soon, because the mango lime seems to only be available in the smaller size and I go through it quickly. So bottom line is even if I didn’t enjoy the fantastic flavor, it would be easy to chug down my 20 ounces in just a few seconds and I would still give it 5 starts because it’s sooo easy to get down.

I wasn’t overly impressed the first time I tried this. The lemon flavor wasn't as lemony as I was used to for lemonade flavor. For some, the flavor may be fine. The second time I mixed, I added a single serve packet of my regular lemonade flavoring that I use with plain water. (I don’t like the taste of plain water so I use the Walmart individual packets of lemonade flavoring to flavor my water so I get in my daily intake). That extra added kick of lemonade flavoring did the trick! The taste now is perfect for me. After blending it with the frother stick, it does get foamy, but then I add ice to my water bottle, close it up, shake well to get the ice to chill it down, allow it to sit a few minutes and the foam goes away. It doesn’t mix well if just using a blender ball shaker. I had to use the frother (or an immersion stick works too) The Isopure is Great way to get extra protein into my daily protein intake that would have otherwise just been my usual lemonade flavored water. Also the price point and quantity is better than most anything else available.
