I had a really big z820 working as a server, and realized I could meet my requirements with less heat, electricity, and space. The mini power consumption is way better. I blew away Windows and installed Ubuntu. I had to toy with the bios a little to disable safe boot, but this is the game one normally plays when installing Ubuntu. Needless to say Ubuntu is now running like a champ so I would say compatibility is good. For its price I think the specs including storage capacity is really solid. Solid buy don't need to stress purchasing the hp pro mini.

The computer is small and fits on my desk well. Its very fast and has plenty of storage.

This computer rocks. I bought it in November 2025, and I use it nearly every day. I run a YouTube channel, and I use YouTube Movie Maker to edit my videos on this thing. Some of my videos are so long that my video editor takes more than a whole day to export a video, so I end up running the computer for more than a whole day, and despite having to do that, it still works great every time. It even has an extra fan that turns on when the computer gets hot, so it doesn't overheat. I recommend this computer to anyone who would use it for video editing.
