BRAVIA Theater System 6, 5.1ch Home Theater System soundbar with subwoofer and Rear Speakers, Surround Sound by Dolby Atmos/DTS:X Compatible HT-S60

Got the sound system for our families new entertainment area. Was easy to set up with my Samsung Tv and the sound quality is great. I feel like it is a good value for what I paid and what I wanted out of the system.

I've been using this for a few months now, and I'm loving it. Setup was pretty easy and quick. The sound is great. It really envelopes you. I've only had the volume up to the 40 setting and that was to loud. So I think there's plenty of power for large spaces. There's one thing about it I'm not thrilled about though. I mostly use an Nvidia shield, and have that connected to the tv, and the TV connected to the sound bar via CEC. Whenever I change the volume using the shield remote the sound cuts out for a moment. This doesn't happen when I use the Sony app to control it. Just with the shield remote (I have not tried the TV remote) I find it a little annoying, but not enough to ding it in this review

Relatively easy to set up and nice quality. Surround sound is fantastic and well worth the price - watching movies in our living room feels cinematic! Probably a bad choice for an apartment - the bass is great but the kids complain they can hear it upstairs on the other end of the house. I do wish it had a mono setting - it'd be nice to turn all the surround sound off sometimes and just hear dialog out of the back speakers.

Pros: Killer sound. Sub shakes my whole living room and you literally feel the bass. Clean and not muddy. Surround speakers are small but loud and have good clarity. Once you place the speakers correctly and adjust minor settings it is incredibly immersive. Very good build quality. Everything is sturdy and feels high quality. App is simple but works every time. Cons: The sub is the "hub" and it HAS to be close and plugged in to your tv. Not wireless, and the cables are super crimped. The sound field is good but it's virtual and not a true sound field (the speakers are all forward facing). Bc there are wires I keep the rear speakers close to my couch and have to move them back when I'm watching a movie. Otherwise there are cables that ppl will trip over. The keyhole mount is too small and I had to use a different screw to put them on stands. The top of the sound bar is shiny and reflects the TV too much. If you can live with the cons this is a very very good sounding system for $600.

This system is very good, I love the crisp sound quality it provides, especially when the sound is loud. The configuration and eq settings are quite good. I would say one thing about the HDMI cable connectivity to my sony tv is not that good, as in it disconnects the sound often for some reason. I updated the tv and sound system so no issues there. I don’t know what is causing the issue but it seemed to happen often when playing youtube. I had to switch to optical cable for continuous connectivity. Overall I would recommend this system for it’s sound quality.

Stopped working after seven months. Customer service is very hard to understand unfortunately I only speak English. Called twice and was asked to do a dozen steps to correct problem. At least two hours spent each time with no solution. They sent me a repair authorization and shipping label. I requested a shipping box but was told that’s my responsibility. Could only find a large enough box at Home Depot. Packed with sponge paper and bubble wrap and FedEx picked it up. After about a week I received an email that there was damage from shipping. After another week they send me an authorization to repair note with an estimate of roughly half what I paid. I bought the system and also bought a 55” Sony Bravia tv on through Amazon. I used to think Sony was a quality brand. Now I realize they are just a sleazy scam outfit. In the past I’ve had Samsung products with no problems. I rue the day I went with Sony.

Best $$$ I ever spent, works great with my Bravia TV, app works great as well.

Extraordinary and very quality bass .. Good vocals and treble. Powerful volume. Ground shaking bass . Excellent surround sound. Simply awesome. But the operation is a bit hectic. No sufficient controls in remote . No led display is a very big draw back . We have to operate every thing in app itself except volume , bass ,( sub ) . Unless it's an awesome product worth the price. Theater like feeling . But disappointed with the draw backs . If you want purely sound except the controls you can a blindly go a head .

The room size is of approx 12 ft x 15 ft x 18 ft. The sound quality is exquisite and bass is really good. I have watched movies, listened to music and watched videos and sound quality is excellent. It connects through blouetooth through its app and it's very easy. The app allows you to configure the speaker as per distance of each speaker from user. It is highly sleek and due to its wireless connection It fits perfectly in any room.

Excelente sonido, material, estética, funcional, sonido envolvente, Sony es calidad!! Las bocinas satelitales son cableadas pero independientes a la barra, tienen su modulo que se conecta a corriente eléctrica y no requiere cruzar cables , se enlaza vía inalámbrica a la barra y woofer. Bajos excelentes.
