I looked at much more expensive similar pieces, and ended up going for this one. Honestly, it looks better than one 6 times the price, and it's also sturdier. The only "fault" is that the side pieces are two fitted together, instead of one like a more expensive piece, but that would be impractical for shipping. I don't notice that at all when I look at it. It looks GREAT! And it's more than capable of holding the books and artwork I am putting on it. The wood even looks terrific. The instructions say you need two people to put it together. You really only need one. I'm 66 years old, and had no problem putting it together by myself. Very high quality control, and they give an extra piece of all the small pieces (screws, bolt) just in case you drop one and can't find it.

Great!!!! Everything was exactly as described! It was super easy to set up and didn’t take much time at all. The shelves are very sturdy, and I love how tall they are, it adds such a cute touch to the space. I’ll definitely be purchasing another one for a different area of my house!

Perfect for my little space! Very sturdy and cute. I needed a smaller book stand/shelves and this one is great. I ordered one 4 years ago for my larger guest bathroom for towels and products and it worked great. We’ve since moved and I have a small sitting room with a fireplace and moved it to flank the fireplace. I liked it so much I ordered this second one (now from a different seller) and it matches perfectly and they sit on either side of the fireplace. The depth on the shelves decrease as they rise but it’s very sturdy and looks great!

I LOVE this bookshelf, it looks so beautiful in my room and it was super easy to assemble (the crossbar in the back got a little tricky, but I had a wrench I could use instead of the flat one they sent with the parts). It did arrive slightly dinged which, if you look hard from a certain angle, it looks like it lists to one side. But you can't tell unless someone points it out to you (though I notice it because I assembled it). Aside from that I LOVE it and would definitely buy it again.

This is my fifth item that I have ordered from this company. The workmanship is consistently outstanding. It is super easy to put together. The durability is amazing, the shelf that I’ve had for five years. Looks brand new still. I am extremely satisfied with every item I have purchased from this company. I love the gray oak. It’s beautiful And interestingly enough the shelves still match the ones that I bought five years ago. This is a win-win! I highly recommend the product.

My apartment is small and the 5 shelf bookcase fits perfectly. It’s sturdy yet easy to put together. There’s plenty of space to decorate/redecorate your shelves.
