These decks are sweet!!
I bought these decks as a upgrade from some Stanton's. I have played on Stanton 100s, 150s, and Tech 12's. These decks beat all of them hands down. I'll do my best to explain why.Construction: These are built in Germany and are built just like the 1200s with some improvements. The platter is the same, but underneath its sealed tight. So no dust will get into them. The tone arms are the same with all the same settings. The strobe lamp is brighter and helps in dark settings and the cartridge light is plugged in via RCA and so its easy to switch out. But it's an LED and so it will last a long time anyway.Layout: The layout has the same feel as the 1200s, even the square shape and square shaped stop/stop buttons. It has the same 33/45/78 buttons and the same quartz lock button. But these add another start/stop button on the back-right just like the Stanton 150s which is nice in battle mode for the right deck.Power: This is where the decks start to shine. The torque is amazing. It helps with quick cuts and scratching. They have the ability to start and stop on a dime! There is no detectable drag in the start at all. But you can also customize the settings with adjustable torque and brake dials. So if you want a tech 12 start, you can dial back the torque ("not I" said the fly). Playing with the break is sweet you can break from 0 to 6 "seconds".More added value: The entire deck is midi programmable. So in theory you can program any button, fader, or dial. But the real beauty is that you can throw away your dicers! These bad boyz have 8 very responsive drum pads. You can press the cue button and the 8 pads trigger cue points. You can press the sample button and the pads trigger your samples. You can press the loop button and you can trigger loops! You can also do slices (which I have not played with yet). You can hit two buttons like the cue and sample at the same time and 1/2 of the 8 will be for your cue points and other 1/2 will trigger samples!. Da Bomb!Firmware: These decks are primarily controlled and configured by software. So there are firmware updates that you need to apply when you first get them, but this also means that they can be improved by future firmware updates. The only potential downside that I can see is that we don't have evidence of longevity. But since they are built so much like the tech 12's I am thinking they will last just as long.

Very happy with the Reloop RP-8000 so far
This is my first turntable in 25 years so I can't really compare it to any other table. However, so far I love this turntable. It looks awesome, it is heavy and built well, it was easy to setup and it has many features.I have purchased the Ortofon Concorde Pro S to go with it. It is not a top cartridge but so far it sounds very nice. I am still learning and trying to best align the cartridge for optimum performance.I am not an audiophile. My collection of records is rare Salsa and Latin Jazz from the 60s and 70s, which most were never digitized. So yes, having a better cartridge ( or "better" turntable ) will mot likely make my music sound better, but it will also wear my records faster which I don't want to happened. I am also planing to use the turntable to play my rare collection of music in my Salsa events ( so far I have been using digital music ) once I get enough practice with it ( and when I save up enough for another turntable ).So, after 4 months of reading and learning about turntables, going back and forth between a new or used table, between the Technics 1200, Stanton or an audiophile table like VPI Traveler or Any of the Rega, I have decided to go with the Reloop RP-8000. And so far I am very happy with my purchase, as I find the Reloop RP-8000 to perfectly fit my needs.

Best Turntable On The Market!!!!
These decks are the future. I own 1200's and the are a great replacement. With the cue and loop buttons added to the decks it allows me to sell the added controllers and have a smaller set up.The performance of these are as good if not better than 1200's and I don't care what anyone says. I have both and have compared them. The torque is as strong as my Stanton STR8-150's. these are slightly lighter in weight then a 1200 also. I love the design, the pitch feature, and the fact that I can control multiple decks in Traktor with just one turntable with the deck selected feature. I would advise to replace the power cord with right angles power cord so you'll eliminate the gap between the deck and the mixer. I choose this over the new Pioneer PLX 1000 any day. You have more within this turntable then any other deck. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing super OEM turntable w/ Bells and whistles
Been using a pair of these for a solid 10 gigs and have to say they are really worth the money. I have no complaints. The issue with noise some people have had is from the USB cables, something I remedied by buying a high quality replacement for the ones provided. I bought the triplite USB 2 cables.
