START InternationalZCM0300 Manual Tape Dispenser with Hand Lever

This item broke after 2 months use. The feed lever spring broke and does not snap back up. Amazon would not warranty. START would not warranty.

It only work few weeks and after that it doesn't work smooth. the tape get stuck. now it pass return window which mean I can not return this piece of junk. DON'T BUY

It's "OK". Nothing great to say but it works. The old ones I used previously were cast iron and had some heft. So they did not budge or move when in use.This one performs ok, but I don't have faith that it will last like the old ones. Consider it disposable at some point.

broke within the first 2 months

The quality and condition of this product was equal to that of a used item, which was a little disappointing. Its plastic casing came all scratched up. It does a great job in being heavy, so it never falls over. The mechanics on this work great to dispense a specific and consistent amount of tape at each press. Compared to the expensive electronic dispensers that cost hundreds of dollars, this is a good deal. However, I was really disappointed by its cutting teeth. I've returned and received a replacement, and both times, I had received a rusty, "Tetinitis-proned" cutting teeth. The teeth does not cut good, so if you don't mind using a pair of scissors to cut the tape, this machine will feed you a perfect amount of tape you need. Press the lever fully once to get the exact amount of tape you've set to incrementally dispense, press twice to get twice the amount you need, or even half way to get half.I'd give it four stars if the quality of the teeth and plastic casing came in mint condition. I'd give it another star if the teeth actually worked.

Great for simple film tapes. Perfect price for what it does.
