My wife used this iron on a saree with small diamond work, and the golden coating on the soleplate got damaged under normal use. This is disappointing, as such fabrics are common in Indian households. The iron heats well, but the coating quality is poor and not suitable for clothes with light embellishments. I am now hesitant to use it on delicate or expensive garments.

I used it for 8 years before the heating element failed; everything else is fine. So a solid product.

Pathetic product...even on normal hit it burns the color sticker of shirts and that burned material sticks on your shirt. Slight more time on one place and cloth is burned...plate bottom material is not good...had using philips iron earlier..never faced such issues

It says no stick in the description but I have lsot 3 shirts to this monstrosity. The heat is unpredictable, even if I set to 1, the heat is same as 6. Terrible terrible product.
