As other reviewers have mentioned, these cabinets are very heavy and show a weight on the box of 41 kilograms, which works out to 92 lbs. for us colonials. Packaging was surprisingly good, though one shelf had a small rub mark (~1/2") which was too small to be concerned about and was concealed once the cabinet was loaded anyway. Assembly was straightforward with adequate pictograph instructions, though you will have to examine some of the drawings carefully to make sure everything is oriented correctly. I'd recommend using a hand screwdriver over a power tool to prevent stripping out the fasteners, but the supplied screwdriver is really too small to get a good grip, but if you have nothing else it'll do. Assembly time was about ninety minutes, but I go very slowly and methodically and could likely complete a second one in 45 minutes or so. Once completed, I was very pleased after loading it with our pantry items consisting of dozens of canned goods, condiments, and other miscellaneous needs. The shelves held everything without bowing at all, and we feel that we have made a good decision in purchasing this item, not to mention the money we saved over buying it at the local big box store. We would certainly purchase again if the need presented itself and we can absolutely recommend this cabinet.

The Letaya Metal Storage Cabinet is a good choice for everyday office or home storage. While the metal is not as heavy-duty or as strong as some commercial-grade cabinets, it is sturdy enough for daily use and gets the job done. The cabinet has a clean, modern appearance and looks great in an office, garage, or storage room. Assembly was straightforward, and the adjustable shelves provide flexibility for organizing different items. The lockable doors are a nice feature for keeping contents secure. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable storage cabinet with a neat, professional look and practical functionality, this is a solid option. Just don't expect extremely heavy-gauge steel construction. It is lightweight, comfortable to use, and looks clean and organized.

This cabinet was fairly easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. A much better value than I found at Lowes and Home Depot. It only took me maybe an hour or so to put together by myself.

My cabinet has mismatched parts, but I finally got it assembled. The kit was missing an important piece. The manufacturer's customer service rep was helpful in securing my replacement part, but the part took a long time to arrive, and had a different finish. I notice the description for this unit emphasizes that the glossy finish is "out-dated" and this has the new and improved "smudge proof" finish. My cabinet is a mixture of both. I haven't tested it with a lot of weight yet, but it seems solid. It's certainly more solid than the plastic unit this is replacing. The shelves on that plastic unit sagged horribly, and these shelves have integrated reinforcing ribs. They look sturdy. The cabinet is a little wobbly on its adjustment feet, and I am mildly concerned that the feet will break when I load this down. It took quite a bit of doing to get the cabinet adjusted so the doors opened and closed easily, but I got there. It has plenty of storage capacity, and it's pretty roomy inside. The doors are smooth, and the locking mechanism will keep the cabinet closed. It would not stand up to a serious effort to break in, but that is no surprise.

I purchased two cabinets. Based on this purchase, I plan on two more with Letaya. There was a part missing. Letaya took care of this immediately, promising quick delivery. It's not a show stopper as I am using the cabinet and will add it later. Bottom line, I am very much impressed with their customer service people. It's reassuring and one the reasons I highly recommend buying from Letaya. The cabinet's quality matches those costing much more. If you are willing to do the assembly ( 1-1.5 hrs first time, half an hour on second second cabinet ), you will have the same quality cabinet as those costing at least twice as much. I know, I own one of those office grade factory assembled ones. I must say, while assembling the first cabinet I was completely impressed with the quality of the sheet metal all formed to fit precisely. All screw holes matched perfectly, all panel joints fit as they should. As I proceeded with the assembly, I waited for the "other shoe to drop". I knew something coming up will disappoint and upset me. Nothing bad happened, all parts went together easily, as the instructions stated and without issue. The opposite has been my experience with so many products that ship you a box full of parts and ask you to put it all together. The manufacturing team at Letaya deserves a lot of credit for pulling this off. It's obvious to me that the people that designed this cabinet had the customer assembler in mind. A bit of work but everything moves along smoothy if you follow the step by step instructions. The assembly manual is the clearest manual I have run across to date. Not an exaggeration. If that is not enough, all parts are labeled with letters even the screws. Hardware to attach the cabinet to the wall is included, with wall anchoring parts as well. Manual screw driver is included but I would recommend a battery powered screwdriver. Not an impact type driver as that will strip the sheet metal holes. Both my cabinets arrived with no damage. Letaya encapsulates the packaged panel's top and bottom sections inside a galvanized sheet metal box lined with foam. This forms a very protective means to mitigate shipping hazards. Unlike my expensive, office brand cabinet, these have five shelves. The shelf clips are super easy to remove and re-insert elsewhere making shelf height adjustments the easiest I've experience. I can't say that about my expensive office cabinet. I think more manufactures can learn from Letaya. I've assembled a lot of products in my long lifetime and have yet to experience a build like this. I must also add, the cabinet looks great. EDIT - November 2024 Ok, as I wrote earlier, I like the Letaya cabinets a lot. Just ordered three more but in white for my walk in pantry. They look great lined up against the wall. As mentioned earlier, the quality is still there. I did notice, the box packaging has improved with a lot of stiff hardboard surrounding the steel door panels throughout. Unless the shipping box was run over by the FedEx truck, it would be hard to damage the panels. Assembly was straightforward as before and instructions just as clear. What makes Letaya stand out is their customer service. This alone makes Letaya a smart choice.
