This product is really good and really helped me sleep better and reduced my pain a lot.

So our story is that both my husband and I have Lyme Disease. We cannot take pharmaceutical drugs due to the devastating affects they have on our liver enzymes and breakdown of calcium in our bones. Long story there, but if you know anything about how they treat Lyme disease, you'll understand. The pharmaceuticals prescribed are drastically dangerous on one's health, not just for short term, but because Lyme treatment typically takes YEARS to treat. Even then, it is not curable 100% because it is a sophisticated BLOOD BACTERIA organism that remains, has numerous co-infections, and has a unique ability to morph into 3 different shapes in the body (corkscrew spirochete, worm, & cyst forms). I have previously worked in the medical field for almost 2 decades and so I am always reading medical books and material in my attempt to learn what my doctors cannot not tell me. My advise to everyone, is that you cannot rely solely on the HMO system, you have to seek out answers on our own and study to learn NEW and CONTEMPORARY medical findings. Magnesium is one of those findings! Due to the severe affects that Lyme has had on myself and my husband, I am adamant about finding alternative "natural and holistic" methods to improve our well being and relieve the symptoms of this horrible disease. I had recently learned through my research that unlike other types of bacterial diseases, Lyme bacteria is very DIFFERENT in that in ADDITION to it leaching iron from red blood cells, this organism ALSO specifically utilizes the mineral Magnesium to thrive! This has put a lot of pieces of the puzzle together for me. Therefore, they have found that Lyme patients are typically Magnesium DEFICIENT. This of course explains just ONE of many but prominent ongoing symptoms of Lyme which is painful joints and muscles, in addition to chronic fatigue because the body does not achieve rest or repair through the necessity of Magnesium. This being said, I decided to try "trans-dermal" magnesium such as this oil, because our skin is the largest organ in our body. We have now been using this at night to help us relax and sleep and to remedy pain. It has made a huge difference, not only with relieving some of the joint and muscle pain, but also in that we have been achieving a deeper sleep during the night and not waking up continually. I have rubbed this on our feet, neck, shoulders and back. Neither of us have had any itching or stinging. This is a super absorbable product, easy to use, and does not have any odor or smell. Great product, it works very quickly especially with muscle/pain relief. I also use it before bed for a good nights sleep - just spray it on any sore muscles and focus on the fatty areas of the body (thigh, buttocks, stomach) for greater absorption. I use 20 - 30 sprays per day or more if needed. I don't have any problems with the solution itching like some brands, although you do notice the salt type residue on the skin - normal for this type of solution.

It was suggested to me that I try using magnesium oil for my neuropathy but it has done nothing for my pain. It may work for others but not for me.

I have purposely waited to review this product so that I can give it an honest review from my experience with it. I have been using this daily for 3-4 months now & THIS STUFF IS LIKE LIQUID GOLD! I have fibromyalgia & what I believe to be a couple misaligned neck vertebra (most likely) because I am perpetually sore every single day of my life. The worst soreness I have is the back of my neck & shoulders from tension & probably misalignment. I use special neck devices, etc. to help realign it & do stretches daily (which helps, but doesn't ever make it go completely away). I was really getting sick of using OTC pain pills like Excedrin, Advil, etc. plus I know taking these all the time is not safe. I also tried the highest % cannaboid tinctures on the market, & these don't do much for me either sadly. Not sure why. Taking stronger prescription pain meds is out of the question-don't even want to start to go there because of the danger. I have literally tried everything I can think of. None of the topical creams for muscle soreness, etc. don't work either. Out of desperation I bought this magnesium oil spray just to give it a try. I have used Epsom salt baths & that can help take the edge off a bit, so I thought-might as well try this spray. Honestly, I did not expect it to work since nothing else has. THIS STUFF ACTUALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE! It works 10x's better on muscle soreness than any topical crème on the market. It does sting, especially at first, or if you use it right after a warm shower/bath & your pores are open, BUT the stinging goes away in about 15min. After using it several times my skin got more used to it, so now it only stings once in a while-mainly if it's after a shower. The sting is a little annoying, but not super painful or anything. I will gladly feel a little sting for how well it works. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! If you have muscle soreness or tension, this works better than anything else I have tried. I don't know how it works on arthritis, but most likely it works well for this too. I now use it every morning to help as a preventive for my pain. It has literally taken my daily pain from a 7 or 8 to a 3 & it has cut having to take OTC pain pills from a few days a week to maybe 3 times a month now. AMAZING! I hope to never be without this product!
