The product itself is great but there is an issue with the product description being inaccurate. It asks you to select hardback or paperback, so is only referring to a book. So that's what I thought I was ordering- the paperback book. What I got was a hardback book WITH the card set. That's fine, I've no problem with that BUT the inaccurate description caused me to source and by the card set from somewhere else, which doesn't do refunds. So I now have 2 sets of cards. Just be aware that you might not get what you expect!!

I bought this hoping it would be both the book and the cards, which is not stated in the listing, and it is. Buy this and you do not need to purchase the cards separately. I thoroughly recommend the Medicine Cards as a spiritual aid to adding meaning to life.

Beautiful cards, love the artwork, the cards are good quality. The book describes how to use cards and in the description in writes the native American history of the animal and beliefs. So some of the animals we are not so familiar with in this UK. I use them for comfort after a difficult day when I find it offers me empathy and understanding, or if I know I am going to meet some challenges it often offers me support with how to protect myself.Although I did have to get used to the new approach and practice or play with them until I got full benefit. Still not as good as my runes.

I bought these cards because my mother has the same deck with the corresponding book in Italian and I wanted one of my own. The book is very clear and well-organised. However, the quality of the cards is not up to par with what I expected. The cards themselves are very thin, much thinner than the ones my mum owns. The material is very shiny, which is not my favourite when it comes to tarots, and the back of the card is a bit tacky in my opinion (bright turquoise background with a yellow bolt). All and all the cards are usable but I have a feeling they won't last long enough for me to show my kids as my mother did with hers!

I was put off by previous reviews describing the card stock as flimsy. However, on purchase, I was pleasurably surprised to find that they were sturdier than I expected. I look forward to my future readings with them.

It's quite often spookily accurate, and others using it, found the same. A minor gripe with the size of the cards - about 4-5"x about 3 - makes it difficult to shuffle properly. That and a valid comment on the reverse side being a somewhat luminous blue/turquoise and yellow, quite out of keeping with the more muted colours are my tiny reservations.I'm still trying to work through some of the spreads, and mountain and moon appear to be near identical. I'm sure I'll know when I'm using one or the other. The Druidic was weirdly accurate for me - how do they do that?!
