Purchased this 104 sq ft barnwood for our fireplace wall to replace cheap contractor grade tile, and it is absolutely stunning! It looks like something straight out of a catalog and million dollar home. My husband installed it himself with dap caulk and a nail gun to secure each piece. He did have to replace drywall where the old tile was removed, then painted the entire wall matte black in case the wood had holes or creases. It feels so smooth to the touch (no splinters for our kids!) and has such a deep, rich color that really brings out the beauty of each plank. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!! Definitely recommend if you are looking for an affordable way to create an accent wall in your home! He also painted the white crown molding with an acrylic paint kit purchased years ago from Amazon and a wood look silicone roller to match the wood grain in the planks and the color.

These boards are amazing. So easy to work with, old antique, rustic look. Every board is different, light weight, thin, I cant say enough about the look of the finished walls. If you want that really old rustic look.. buy this product

Was looking for some easy, already milled barnwood for an accent wall. This fit the bill perfectly and was easy to work with. THIS IS RECLAIMED BARNWOOD. You can expect to see some knot holes, old nail holes, etc. That is the point! If you are looking for perfectly manicured wood with no imperfections, look elsewhere. I ordered their largest size on Amazon and got a great assortment of different colored boards, as you can see from the picture. For the most part they are all milled well and pretty square, but you still should use a level when putting them up. They were all planed to the same thickness with very minimal bowing. A few boards had a slight cup to them, which would be expected (and adds to the look). I hung mine with a brad nailer instead of construction adhesive, so it could be removed without tearing up the entire wall if a future owner does not want it. The boards all stay in place with no problems. Would 100% buy again if needed.

This turned out really nice. Very pleased and ecstatic with the results. The variation in color and grain features is super amazing. Yes the widths of the boards do differ but this is where you have to take your time, measure each one, start off level and kind of just fit all together. These are all planed so they fit nice and flat to a wall. There is also some variation in the wood texture, thickness, etc. but this is what makes it unique. It’s barn wood so there is going to be differences in everything but, that’s what gives it character. This is about a week’s worth of work doing a little each day on one accent wall and one entryway wall. If you’re a DIY’er like me, go slow but steady, make sure you start level and work from there. It’s definitely worth it in the end.

We ordered this wood for the variety it showed in all the pictures. Instead we got ALL grey planks. No variety of colors at all. It was very disappointing considering we were looking for different wood tones, not just grey. We ended up turning over the planks and staining them the colors were were looking for, which worked ok since they were different wood species. But that should never had to have happened. Especially since we ordered SO much of it and it's not inexpensive.

Perfect. My contractor was fumbling and getting a bit irritated. He was working with 110 year old walls and not perfect wood. I had to come in and say if the customer is thrilled, go with it. Didn't think I had enough but had so much extra, due to the expertise of my 20 year old ex Amish contractor. I couldn't be happier with this wood.

Be advised, this is NOT barn wood, this is pallet wood. That's obvoius enough when you look at the sellers pictures. However, this should be properly stated in the title instead of falsely advertising that it's barn wood. The product fit perfectly for my needs, was well packaged, and had only minor loss/damage with a couple pieces being split from being old and dry. My bathroom accent wall looks great!

We installed this barn wood behind the wood burning stove and behind the bar in our new rec room. Easily installed using good quality glue and an air nailer. The color variation is outstanding but still maintains a natural warm feel. The seller even put black fabric pieces on the back where the knots and holes are in the natural wood. We are so pleased with how this looks! Delivery was prompt. Waste was minimal.
