I make banana bread all the time and have always been using imitation vanilla extract. Now, I will never go back because this BRBON vanilla extract changed my baking game. It elevates my banana bread and makes it taste better, richer, and deeper. I made two batches, one with imitation and another with this one and all my family and friends picked the one baked with this one (except for the 2 who has no taste buds and said they're the same, LOL).With the imitation vanilla extract, I notice my banana bread have a subtle bitter aftertaste. I always thought it was the banana skin seeping into the banana mush, but nope, it was the imitation. Now, I will not go back to imitation vanilla and will only buy pure vanilla. There is a real difference, y'all! Don't skip out if you're an avid baker! Overall, I would buy this brand again, and the presentation is gorgeous to boot. I thought I had ordered a cologne or something when it arrived.Oh! One thing is that I wished the cap had a paper seal, that would make me feel safer about it. Still tasted fresh and delicious though.

This is really good vanilla. I've only used it once so far but seems to be superior to the other brands I've tried. I did take a little taste on it's own and I can definitely tell the difference.

It's great quality vanilla and is the best deal we have found for vanilla so far. It beats many deals in retail stores and even comes in a premium glass container unlike the more expensive plastic ones sold in Walmart and SamsClub. I would rather get my vanilla from here.

This vanilla extract is OK. It is not as good as I had hoped. It is just fine however. I guess I expected more. It comes in a nice cylindrical tube. The presentation of this is pretty nice. Bottle looks really nice too. I've been putting this in my coffee. It tastes pretty good. I'm not sure that this is any better than the Watkins that I normally get. It seems that the price of this is similar to my normal brand. I would be OK getting this again. I am giving this 5 stars but I would like to give it 4.5 stars.

It was very difficult to open the package to get the vanilla out. Once I was able to separate the top from the bottom of the package, the bottle fell on my counter. There is no evidence of breakage on the outside, but I'm not positive! I'm hoping that everything is fine!!I hope that my comments help people who purchase this same item. When you purchase very expensive pure vanilla, it's important to be aware of how difficult the packaging can be to get it out. I'm hoping that the bottle did not crack on the inside!

This bottle of Madagascar vanilla comes tucked in a sturdy cardboard canister. The extract has a heady, rich vanilla aroma and taste that is notably different than that of typical grocery store brands. This likely is due both to the quality of the beans and to being extracted in bourbon rather than a less flavorful alcohol. It added a wonderful flavor to the scones I baked and I’m sure it will add depth to many recipes. With the quality and the canister it comes packaged in, it would also make a great gift to a baker in your life.

This vanilla presents quality from the packaging down to the actual product.The vanilla came in a very nice and sturdy cardboard tube. The glass jar is well protected and also has a nice feel and looks to it.The vanilla inside has a very pleasant scent. The flavor is bold and tastes of great vanilla. It worked very well in the waffles I made.This would be a wonderful gift with the packaging to anyone who bakes.

This vanilla extract is surprisingly affordable, smells, and most importantly tastes really good. The packaging is super fancy too so would make a great addition to a gift basket. I love that it's a four ounce bottle so will last me a while, even if I want to use it in coffee or a smoothie. I'm not sure why it has sugar in it as none of my other extracts do, so bear that in mind when using it in a recipe and adjust your ingredients accordingly.
