Good but hard to store
It is a good quality. It would be nice if it came in a resealable bag.

Good quality Kombu. Usually I don’t trust food on Amazon but this is legit. Made an umami filled broth.

The true Kombu flavor
This is the real deal Hidaka Kombu I use to make Rebecca Katz’s Magic Mineral broth which serves as a basis for all of my soup recipes. It gives a delightful subtle umami flavor to all my soups.

Always prefer this kombu to add the best flavor for my vegetarian dashi!

Good to make dashi.
Good enough to make dashi, price is bit high but it is harvested in Japan. I cut them into 2 inch then cook rice with it.

Great for seasoning sushi rice
Great for making sushi rice seasoning. A little goes a long way. I plan to make a seaweed salad with this too!
