Really good coffee
Great coffee! Fair price.

Average
Price is good, but the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe lacked the classic berry notes that it should have. The flavor was clean, but not what it should be. Roasted too much. It was medium, not light.

One of the best bag of beans
After being in Eastern Africa and having Ethiopian coffee, then going back to the USA it was pretty hard to find beans from Ethiopa. I know Starjerks and some other have them and mix them into blends but not as good as getting them direct. I took a chance on thse beans, and it was a good bet. Grinding the beans has a wonderful aroma, and the taste is just the way I like it. The coffee comes out dark and heavy, and in the light it has a oilly look to the coffee. Just the way I like it. I have shared the beans with others and have been a hit. I will definatly get more.

Inconsistent in the roasting
I tried some other varieties of organic Yirgacheffe, and this is a close second for taste. I prefer a medium roast, and this is a light roast, so that's probably the biggest difference. It does have a bit more caffeine in it as well, but the taste is not as robust as the medium roast. When you start comparing it in terms of price, that's where it's a clear winner. I can easily go through a couple of pounds in a month, and it adds up. This represents a great value at slightly less than optimum taste. Update: After my 3rd bag of this, I am discontinuing my purchase. It's very inconsistent in the roasting. The last batch was extremely acidic, and the amount of caffeine was over the top. After drinking a strong cup, I felt nauseous and started experiencing GERD symptoms again, which I have not had in years.

Revised
Earlier I left the following review. Turns out there was a malfunction with our water softener. I have been using this coffee for over two years. This coffee received in this order is clearly not the same as all of my previous ones. I would return it but the product is not returnable.
