SAPHIR Beauté du Cuir Renovating Cream 25 ml - Professional Leather Repair & Color Restoration Cream

I work in the kitchen 5-6 days a week. I also go to culinary school. I own Birkenstocks, docs non-slips, and my knife bag that I use this for. So I use my shoes and my bag a lot. I apply this, at least, once a month or every other month. It’s the best thing I’ve ever gotten for my things. It honestly keeps the leather shiny and healthy looking. I also put wax after applying this. Maybe I don’t need to but to me, it makes the leather much more softer. There isn’t any smell. If you do mind washing your hands thoroughly, I would wear gloves, but I don’t really wear any, since it’s so easy to wash off of skin. I use a micro fabric towel and squeeze the product right on the item I want to use it on, super easy to use. It’s bang for your buck, small amount goes a long way, and something that anyone should add in their leather care routine

Absolutely perfect. Used to repair scuffs on my thrifted Allen Edmonds. They are like new now.

Pictured is the before and after. Fairly deep gouge in the toe area and another on the side. Lightly sanded with 220 grit, applied the resin, let it dry, lightly sanded again, applied more, etc. until it was filled in a smooth. Each coat dried within ten minutes. I burnished with the back of a spoon after the final sanding to get the sanded leather to look like it did before I started. Or looks like nothing ever happened. I recommend applying in small batches. If you try to fill a deep gouge all at once, it takes a lot more sanding. Definitely will use when it’s needed again. Great stuff.

I had asked the question if it could be pre-mixed with dye. I tried it and it worked very well, got a perfect color match. The only reason I put a 4 is that the product, when I purchased it, was somewhat separated in the tube. It still works, but I have to squeeze out more than I want to get the right ratio of the separated liquid (which comes out first) and the thicker part of the product. I do worry that by the time I get to the end, it will just be dried up since so much liquid comes out first. Also, when the thicker part comes out, it has the texture of cottage cheese. This is only for the white. I also own in black and that one is fine.

Worked great on my leather Mary Jane shoes. I had some bad scruffing. I gently cleaned the shoe with a wet wipe (like a diaper wipe, because that's what I have on hand), then I used a 600 grit sand paper. Finished with this cream, waited 10 minutes and gently rubbed away the residue with gauze. Looks brand new, I hope it lasts.

Fixes scratches and gouges in shoes and boots. A little difficult to use. Once you get the technique it works well.

This renovating cream does a really good job recoloring areas that have lost their pigment. It can also be used as a sort of “glue” to hold flaps of leather down that have been torn up. It is not great at filling really deep gouges or holes in leather, unfortunately. The surface after using isn’t super smooth, but it attempting to polish over it with Saphir polish starts to re-dissolve the resin and pigment, lifting it off of the leather. This makes it not very useful.

Je ne m'attendais pas à autant de résultat ! Mes chaussures (de randonnée donc qui ont beaucoup vécu) sont quasi comme neuves alors que cela fait deux ans que je les ai et qu'elles n'ont pas eu d'entretien. La crème a couvert la majorité des petites rayures (évidemment ce n'est pas miraculeux pour les débuts de trous mais ils sont moins visibles) et surtout, la pointe des chaussures qui était toute usée et éclaircie est comme neuve ! Je suis vraiment ravie du résultat. Même si 25ml paraît petit, il suffit d'une petite quantité pour faire les deux chaussures car le produit est bien couvrant (je pense pouvoir l'utiliser une dizaine de fois). Ne pas s'étonner si au début le produit paraît trop vif (ça rendait rouge quand je l'ai appliqué), une fois absorbé et bien séché sur le cuir l'effet diminue. Par contre très déçue de la couleur "fawn" achetée pour une autre paire (voir autre commentaire).

J'ai un fauteuil à bascule en cuir style chesterfield vert et cette crème très colorée ma permis de redonner une seconde jeunesse à ce fauteuil. Marques estompées, griffures invisibles, comme un coup de baguette magique. J'ai attendu 24h avant de lustrer car le tubes malgré sa petite taille a servi 2 fois pour la totalité de la surface. Lustrage avec un chiffon doux recommandé après pour éviter de se retrouver avec les fesses vertes!!:)) très bon produit!

Utilizzata per coprire screpolature e graffi sui Dr Marteens. Ottimo risultato. Non fa miracoli ma la copertura è più che accettabile e soprattutto duratura
