For context, I’ve included my issue with sweating. I am a home care visiting nurse and there is a particular patient’s apartment that when I go in, it is always very hot. I always come out after my visit dripping with sweat, especially in my face. I also suffer from hot flashes and sweat profusely in any kind of hot weather. I decided to try Carpe sweat absorbing face lotion. I said to myself this will be the ultimate test if I do not sweat after my visit with this patient. I applied it in the morning, and a little touch up right before I went to his home. As usual, the apartment was very hot, but I did not sweat. In fact I did not sweat nearly as I usually do, even with my episodes of hot flashes throughout the day. I was absolutely amazed! This product does exactly what it says. I will definitely be buying this on a regular basis. I have also recommended it to a friend.

I bought this after seeing several ads over and over again on social media. The price was much less expensive than their tinted product, so I thought I'd give this a try and, if I liked it/it worked, I'd get the tinted product. Summer in the Central Valley is a killer, and my makeup usually gives up in this heat. This seemed like a perfect product to help with this issue. NOPE. As a primer, I would say it's just ok. As an effective sweat blocking product, it does not work. Like, at all. There is no longevity to this product. I would apply it after using my skin care products and giving it time to dry down. Before the first drop of foundation touched my face, I was already sweating. It seemed as if this product was inducing my skin to sweat. And no, not lightly perspire...SWEAT. I found myself having to keep a small fan pointed at my face while applying makeup because I was sweating it off as quickly as I was applying it. I used this every day for a couple of weeks thinking it just needs time to work. Unfortunately, that did not help, and I simply gave up. It isn't scented, so I suppose that's a plus? I really had high hopes for this product and am bummed that it let me down. Please, don't waste your money on this product.

Have you ever walked into your work building with dripping sweat from your hair, literally dripping of the tip of your nose and then you run into your boss and have to engage in an embarrassing exchange while trying to pay attention all the while wiping sweat from her face in what you hope isn’t gross and obvious? - this was me nearly anytime the slightest bit of humidity is in the air. I just thought this is my life, unfortunately. BUT this sweat absorbing lotion has changed everything!! It’s a small but mighty bottle! Just a small dab along my hair line after a shower and a bit on my upper lip. NIGHT & DAY. Yes, there is still minimal shine but nothing compared to pre-Carpe.

Love that it’s fragrance free. Size of the tube is good for the price. It absorbs well and leaves skin feeling smooth. Not a great moisturizer, and doesn’t last long at blocking sweat. Sunscreen consistentcy.

Where are my perimenopause sisters??? Ya'll....this is awesome. I live in the Deep South and it's hot as blue blazes anyway, but when you add hot flashes it's next door to h*ll. This is the only product that has actually worked for me. Makeup stays in place and looks nice throughout the day. Will keep purchasing this.

I have severe facial hyperhidrosis. For a long time I used the 3B face saver and it was perfect for me, but they stopped selling it on Amazon. I was desperate to find something else so I gave this a shot. This product does not keep me 100% dry like 3B, but it does significantly reduce sweating. I personally need to use a generous amount, but it sets very nicely on your skin and doesn’t dry it out. I’ve felt ZERO irritation! Reapplying in thin layers keeps me comfortably dry

Since 06-09-2025, around the time I went into the hospital for surgery, my night sweats had been horrible. Waking up within 2 hours, I have to switch out my pillows, blankets, and sheets. I sweat profusely, and carpe stopped it on the first night. I used each kind specifically, each area of the body.

He said dont buy this on Amazon but im gonna tell you, DON'T buy this stuff from anywhere unless you work in a climate controlled building. This crap dont work at all. Maybe its made for places that doesn't see the big burning ball of fire in the sky. Somewhere like Everett Washington. Definitely don't work for North Texas. This stuff is useless as teats on a boar hog.
