It dims nicely with my Honeywell z-wave dimmer switches, is a nice color temperature, and doesn't get too hot inside a custom-made light fixture. Review: Excellent product - I used these with my recessed lighting and they work like a charm. I ordered the warm color and use them with a dimmer. Work like the old incandescent but with much less wattage. Unlike other LED's I have used, these dim nicely without any flicker. This is a quality product and I will be ordering more as I need to replace my old lights.

Very happy with this purchase so far. At $5 ea. it is a good price today. They are as bright as the old non-LED 50W units and have the same warm 2700K light at 5W each. Dimming ability is good enough for me.

nice bulbs
I purchased as a replacement to bulbs of similar appearance which are no longer available. They looked great and worked well, but my application needed a little whiter light. I kept them as they seem to be good quality, and will use them in another location in the future.

Cool with a warm glow
replaced halogens - the HEAT is gone! Specifically selected them for their LOW light output (used over desk and on upper display shelf of built in cabinet) ... warm yellowish light is EXACTLY what you'll appreciate compared to stark daylight (3000) types.

Nice warm color!
I have bought over 8 different kinds of these bulbs and either they didn't dim correctly or the light they gave off was to bright and had an annoying color. These work perfect inside a book case with glass shelves. They dim nicely and don't blind you when you look at them.

Not a great bulb.
These bulbs have been dying one by one since the day I bought them. If you notice them flickering it means they are on the way out. At first I thought it was my dimmed then a bulb died and the flickering stopped. Then jr came back and another bulb died and it stopped. One died every other month or so if the 10 I put in o my 6 are left going and one is currently flickering.
