Just amazing!!!I bought it as a present for my girlfriend because she had been wanting one for a long time. I did research on the best hanging hammocks around, while my friends recommended the ENO I was hesitant. So i kept searching around and after a few weeks of going through many different companies looking at all of the reviews for each hammock i came across the serac.- Size: I like that it's not advertised as a two person hammock like other companies but you can well fit more than two people into one of their hammocks at a time. It seems small and very lightweight when you first open the package and see the pouch with it holding everything inside of it. After you open your pouch the hammock opens up and is so much bigger than expected. it was so lightweight but held tons of weight.- Setup: the setup was very easy, what makes it even better is the company sends your email a set up guide so you dont look like a fool trying to set it up your first time. After you pick the right trees all you have to do is throw your straps around the tree and clip your hammock on and you ready to go! The straps are thin and easy to wrap around all kinds of trees.- Color: The colors in the pictures are well to true colors in real life, unlike other hammocks.- Comfort: Even though the hammock seems a little thin it is very durable and very comfortable. When you lay in it, it feels as if the hammock is hugging you so you feels safe and secure. Sometimes can get uncomfortable with two people laying in it but its still really comfy.- Etc. : I love to use the pouch to hold drinks or my cellphone whenever i decide to take a nap. It is definitely a people pleaser at barbeques and other gatherings.Overall, i have absolutely no complaints with the product. I would recommend it to anyone, I love my Serac Hammock!!

Although I've only gotten to use this hammock a few times, I am very pleased with my purchase. The quality of all parts of this hammock is exemplary and I know that this will last me a long time. I also like the size of the hammock. It feels perfect for 1 person to sleep in. It's big enough to comfortably lay in, but not so large that it completely cocoons me if I want to feel the wind. It packs nicely into it's bag that stays attached and the bag makes a perfect pocket while using hammock(Camelback water bottles fit well)! I can carry this and my wife's hammock in a backpack easily along with a few other things so it makes for a great adventure hammock! We like to go on bike rides and find new places to hammock, read, and nap and this fits our needs exactly.The inclusion of the straps was a big selling point and I am happy with those as well (and impressed that I can successfully stuff them back in the built-in bag every time!). Set-up is quick and easy. In a few places, it would be nice if the straps could reach longer, but that's true of every hammock/straps. The key is finding trees with right spacing.I would buy this product again. My biggest wish now is that there would be more trees near where I live!

This hammock is a great pick up. I bought this hammock as I do a lot of traveling, hiking, camping, and music festival going.Here are some of the main advantages of the serac vs other hammocks.1. Comes with tree straps to get and eno hammock and tree straps it would cost around 90-100 dollars so the serac including them with the hammock for 40 dollars is a steal. A singlenest eno hammock along costs 40+ dollars so that alone is great value.2. Seemingly sound craftsman ship. Does not feel chincy or like you purchased a value hammock.3. The tree straps fit inside of the attached stuff sack so no need to carry an additional bag for straps.Drawbacks.1. Only major drawback I can find is that there is not a double option at least that I saw on amazon but maybe I didn't look hard enough.2. Color selection but let's be honest that really doesn't matterI would recommend this hammock to anyone looking for one based of its comparable quality to an eno hammock and value. You cannot go wrong with it.

I purchased a Serac hammock. I immediately hung the hammock between two trees and took a nap. The hammock is quick to set up and a delight to use. I carry this hammock in my day Pack and have hung it ,during the cooler more bugless months of Jan and Feb in the swamps of SC, the warmer months in the mountains of East Tennessee, and under the pier at Isle of Palms. The hammock is great for a short nap or an overnight sleep. You can hang a tarp above to repeal rain and add a mosquito bar if it's bugy. You really don't want to sleep in the hammock in cold weather but with the addition of a sleeping pad and a down sleeping bag you can stay warm in chilly weather. I keep my hammock close at hand and use it often. I give this hammock 5 stars by considering, cost, quality, ease of setup, versatility, and comfort.

Never purchased a hammock before and this one looked like a great bargain for its buck! Super happy with it so far; if you're thinking about buying straps or ropes for your hammock, DEFINITELY get straps. My friend just bought a hammock with ropes and when comparing my straps with her ropes, the straps are much sturdier and way easier to use. My only beef with this hammock is there was a little fraying of the material by the stitching on one side, so far it hasn't affected it's performance, but I guess only time will tell on that. However, I'm still happy with my purchase because it comes with a 5-year warranty if the fraying turns out to be something critical.
