King Oscar Sardines, Mediterranean Style, One Layer, 3.75-Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)

In my opinion, these are the best of the flavored sardines. Small fish, tender, don’t feel the bones, don’t see any scales. I will definitely buy these again.

Sardines are one of the cheapest ways to get omega 3s and these sardines are delicious in a salad, by themselves or with a bit of hot sauce. In fact, they are the only sardines I buy and I get them by the case because the rest of my household likes them, too. I have ordered 5 times! They are also a nourishing pantry staple in the event of a hurricane or other electrical outage. And then I always share a sardine or two with my cats. I remember growing up and eating fish on Fridays. Our society has stopped eating oily fish like mackerel and sardines with the event of fast food like hamburgers and fried chicken which are full of animal fat and omega 6 oils. Research shows the many benefits of Omega 3s, however, all oils are are light and heat sensitive. You never know how long a bottle of supplements have been sitting in a store or housed in a warehouse or at what temperature. Some will give you horrible fish burbs. I don't have this problem when I eat these sardines that have black olive slices, red bell pepper, a touch of garlic and spices. Add a little chopped red onion and these are sublime.

Love them but the sardines are very expensive.😍

King Oscar is one of the best and this version is absolutely delicious.
