Many braided belts are made from "bonded" leather, which is just leather fibers glued together under heat, similar to particle board but with leather. They fall apart quickly from the mechanical stress of daily wear. This belt is full-grain leather and my expectation is that it will last significantly longer than the less expensive bonded belts.The leather is medium quality and the braid is done quite well, with plenty of give. The slight stretchiness and close spacing of the braid means that you can give a little tug on the belt and then fasten it, which results in a very comfortable wear. The belt I relatively thin and lightweight, which is what I prefer.I think the belt is a good value, and I intend to buy the brown version after having worn the black for a few weeks now.

The quality of the belt is excellent. However, be aware that they are cut small. The first two I received had to go back, since they were not even long enough to meet the two ends, when I tried to use them, although they were marked as my size. The seller replaced same, with two, which were 4 inches longer, marked 2 sizes larger than my size and the replacements just fit. When I compared these belts, to my other belts, these were shorter.

It was OK. I'd read other reviews, so I wasn't surprised when I found them accurate. The inside of the belt is rough, and doesn't slide through your belt loops easily. It's a little tight through the buckle, too, but that isn't much of a problem. I was forewarned to get it longer than I would normally, but that wasn't really necessary. It began to stretch shortly after I started wearing it, but that was OK. Mostly I wanted a belt that wouldn't wear out the holes quickly like the bonded leather ones do. So far, it has lived up to my hopes in that department.

It's is real leather with each strand made from a single piece - not glued or bonded. The leather is thick enough to give the belt enough body that it doesn't sag between distant belt loops (like on a pair of jeans). The buckle seems to be a decent quality brass. The only downfall of this belt is that the edges of the strands are rough instead of being smoothly finished like better quality belts. But since I like woven belts for casual dress use, it meets the dress standard for what and when I wear it. I have been using it for about three months and I am a happy customer.

I have been looking everywhere for almost a year for this particular style of belt. My husband insists of having a certain width and doesn't like the braided belts with the knots in the middle of the braids, which are all the rage now. I gave this to him as a Christmas gift, and he loves it. It came in a really nice presentation box, too. He has been wearing this every day since then, and so far it still looks new. No frays, no stretching, no wear marks. There hasn't been any coloring wearing off on his clothes and the size seems to run true. I would buy again.

I have bought 2 of these belts. Love the quality and look. Also they last a long time. The only thing I have a problem with is I bought one a year ago and it was $24 for one. I just bought another one to keep on hand for my summer shorts and it went up to $39.99. I bought it but was not happy for the huge price increase. I do love the belt though it is made very well and looks good on.

Fast shipping. A little slow on processing. Also, product description stated, "Genuine Cowhide Full grain Leather". The product that arrived didn't feel like leather. It felt like plastic. Like those belts you pick up at other stores. Nothing against seller, just description of product.

My everyday belt and has held up fine for the past few months.Only issue is sizing. Looks like they tend to run a little small so order the next size up and you should be fine.
