The case protects the device, it wakes it up well. The side buttons to page turn are a bit tough to press, but one can adjust. The screen cover does not look very durable and shows some signs of tear. The margins are too thin. Overall a good purchase

This isn't the first cover I've had from this maker. I have the same case for my Kobo Libra and I can say that this is as well made as the Kobo case, better even, as they now seem to have got the sleep/wake feature right with this one. The back is clear silicon and there is a fabric feel flip front which has a lovely texture. I got the macha/sage green which is a very popular colour right now - they call it turquoise but it is definitely more green than that. The case is snug and the cut outs fit the buttons and the camera really well. I am very please with this case. As with the Kobo case though it does effectively double the weight, but it's such a small device it shouldn't pose too much of a problem. It's a bit pricey to be fair, but there are very few aftermarket accessories available for this device so it's not surprising. It's a sellers market.

See update at the bottom for why this has been dropped to 1 star. I really wanted to give this review 4 or 5 stars but there are some faults that are hard to overlook. The case and cover are great. They are of a really good quality, too. However, the magnets on the case which hold the cover down when closed have a tendency to fall out. About a month ago, the top one fell out and I’ve since glued it back in. Today, the second magnet on the bottom fell out. This product was ordered on 18.09.25 and today is 02.11.25, so it’s had less than two months of use. This problem could be solved by the manufacturer using a higher quality adhesive or by applying the one they currently use more liberally. Additionally, for a higher quality product, it would be nice for the company to place two additional magnets on the back of the case to hold the cover in place when it is opened and folded around. Overall, the item is still tolerable and usable, but it still misses the mark in a lot of ways. Update (7.11.25) - the bottom magnet keeps coming loose even after trying to glue it back in. This case is a bad design. I’ve just ordered the official Boox one to replace this. Uploading images of both the bottom and top magnets. Have a look at the reviews. This is a fairly common complaint.

This fits well and is nicely protective. It makes the device larger for sure but it stops scratches etc when in a bag and hopefully, (Untested) will protect from a drop. Overall happy with it.

Pink is cute but the magnets come out of the cover and they no longer stick…

Love the colour of the case. The only thing I don’t like about it is that one of the small magnets come out when it’s again something stronger. But here then that sturdy case. Not cheap at all to get. It’s expensive

This case fits well on my Boox. I love that the cover can trigger the device to turn on/off. The color is pretty too.

Poor quality. The magnetic bars come off after one week of use.

This type of flip case may be ideal for protecting the fragile e-ink screen, because just a glass screen protector does not prevent from external pressure in a bag or pocket. The flip covers the screen without touching, because the edge of the case slightly protrudes and the cover panel is supported on the case edge and fixed with magnet, not the screen. It's kind of floating. Of course it will not absorb strong force, but when you usually grab the case with hand on the flip, there will be no force added to the screen. It's peace of mind. I recommend this case for all Palma 2 owners.
