The Office: An American Workplace - Season 1-9 Complete [DVD] [2014]

Packaged nicely, sent timely, and is complete. The reason for the 4 stars is that it was apparently made to suit Australian censorship and has censored out some scenes allowed in the U.S. of A. Add to that list, dvds are double stacked in the cases, then burn the list.

Love The Office, so I was really excited to see this on sale. Should have known better: when I started watching it, something seemed off. I compared it to the Netflix version just to be sure, and I was right.The show had been sped up. It was about 1.25x, and this was really obvious with the higher pitched audio and shortened episode times. I checked a couple different episodes and then a couple discs and it was still the case.

DVDs won't play on American DVD players due to regional encoding. Seller will only let you return DVDs if you pay for return shipping which, since it's to England, costs more than the disc's. Seller claims the regional encoding is part of the product description but, as of October 18th, 2022, this is not true.

Terrible product would not buy, doesnt work on American TVs but they don't tell you that in the description

It’s the European version of the American version which of course means that your DVD player will not be able to play it. Just spend the extra money on the legit box set.

The DVDs don't work at all. Don't purchase these! I tried to contact the seller and they won't respond.

Person did not have disclaimer that the DVD only works on their countries DVD player. Only way to send it back is in shrink wrap. The shipping is way more then the DVD.

When I purchased this item as a gift it was not identified as not working in American DVD players although it is labeled the American version. Now as I don't have the packaging to send it back I am out $65. Terrible scam.
